Krishnaveni Panjaalai
''Krishnaveni Panjaalai'' is an Indian Tamil-language romance film written and directed by debutant Dhanapal Padmanabhan, the film has Hemachandran, Nandana, M. S. Bhaskar, Rajiv Krishna and Bala Singh among others in lead roles. The film is set in the backdrop of the 1980s and is about the lives of workers in a cotton mill. Music is by N. R. Raghunanthan of ''Thenmerku Paruvakaatru'' fame. The movie is released on 8 June 2012. Plot Kadir (Hemachandran) and Poonkothai (Nandana) are cotton mill workers in Udumalaipettai, Tamil Nadu. Their affection grows into love but once the mill closes down following a strike, life gets hard for them and everyone working along with them. Hemachandran (actor)
Hemachandran is an Indian actor in the Tamil film industry. His films include '' Nanda Nanditha'' and '' Krishnaveni Panjaalai''. Career Hemachandran was born on 23 September in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Hemachandran did his schooling in Stanes Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School in Coonoor, before moving to study at Sree Sankara Bala Vidyalaya Higher Secondary School and Lady Andal Venkatasubba Rao Matriculation Higher Secondary School. Vairamuthu Ramasamy (born 13 July 1953) is an Indian lyricist, poet, and novelist working in the Tamil film industry. He is a prominent figure in the Tamil literary world. A master's graduate from the Pachaiyappa's College in Chennai, he first worked as a translator, while also being a published poet. He entered the Tamil film industry in the year 1980, with the film ''Nizhalgal'', an Ilaiyaraaja musical, directed by Bharathiraja.
