Saudara Cup
The Saudara Cup is an annual cricket match played between Malaysia and Singapore. It has been played since 1970, with the exception of 2013, when it was not held, and 2014, when the match was abandoned without a ball being bowled. Malaysia have won the Cup 13 times and Singapore nine times. The other matches have all been drawn. 2006 ACC Trophy
The 2006 ACC Trophy was a cricket tournament in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, taking place between 14 August and 26 August 2006. It gave associate and affiliate members of the Asian Cricket Council experience in international one-day cricket. This was the last tournament in which all teams played in the same tournament. After this tournament, the Asian Cricket Council decided to split the tournament into two divisions. The top ten teams would be promoted to the 2008 ACC Trophy Elite and the rest of the teams would be relegated to the 2009 ACC Trophy Challenge. ICC Intercontinental Cup
The ICC Intercontinental Cup was a first-class cricket tournament organised by the International Cricket Council (ICC) as part of its cricket development programme. It was designed to allow Associate Members of the ICC the chance to play first-class cricket matches over four days against teams of similar skill in a competition environment and prepare them for eventual promotion to Test cricket status. First run in 2004, two of the most successful teams in the history of the tournament, Ireland and Afghanistan were promoted to Full Member and Test status, in 2017. In October 2018, the ICC issued a media release asking for an expression of interest from teams who have competed in previous editions of the tournament. ACC Fast Track Countries Tournament
The ACC Fast Track Countries Tournament was a three-day cricket tournament run by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), contested between its top-ranking ICC associate members. It was played three times between 2004 and 2006, and then replaced by the ACC Twenty20 Cup. Some matches in the second edition of the tournament held first-class status, as they were simultaneously ICC Intercontinental Cup matches. 2004/05 tournament Hong Kong, the UAE and Nepal all qualified for the 2005 ICC Intercontinental Cup as a result of their top three finish in the tournament. A separate final was originally set to be held, but as Hong Kong and the UAE topped the group with only their group match to take place, it was decided to make the final group match the overall tournament final. The Saudi Arabia national cricket team is the team that represents the country of Saudi Arabia in international cricket. The Team is organized by the Saudi Arabian Cricket Federation, which became an affiliate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 2003 and associate member in 2016.
