Krishna (; sa, कृष्ण ) is a major deity in Hinduism. He is worshipped as the eighth avatar of Vishnu and also as the Supreme god in his own right. Dronamraju Krishna Rao
Dronamraju Krishna Rao (14 January 1937 – 3 December 2020) was an Indian-born geneticist and president of the Foundation for Genetic Research in Houston, Texas. He was born in Pithapuram, in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. One focus of his work has been the research of his mentor J. B. S. Haldane. As an author, his name is usually rendered Krishna R. Dronamraju. He died in Houston at age 83. Biography Education Dronamraju went to M. R. College in Vizianagaram, Andhra University to study botany and earned a bachelor's degree in 1955. He received a master's degree from Agra University in 1957; he studied plant breeding and genetics. When J.B.S. Haldane moved to India in 1957, Dronamraju wrote to Haldane for an opportunity to pursue a research career under his direction at the Indian Statistical Institute in Calcutta. Krishna Rao Voomaji Rao Ghorpade, better known as K. V. Ghorpade (March 17, 1919 – December 23, 1997) was an Indian pathologist. He was born on 17 March 1919. Krishna Rao is an Indian archaeologist and writer born in 1930. He received his master's degree from Andhra University in 1953, and a postgraduate degree in archaeology in 1967 from the Archaeological Survey of India. For a time he was in charge of the Amaravathi Museum in Andhra Pradesh, India. Published works ''Indus Script Deciphered'' (1982)The World's Writing Systems, p. 171, by Peter T. Shamsher Bahadur I (Krishna Rao)
Shamsher Bahadur I (1734 – 18 January 1761), was a ruler of the Maratha dominion of Banda in northern India. He was the son of Bajirao I and Mastani. Early life Krishna Rao was the son of Peshwa Baji Rao I and his second wife Mastani, daughter of Chhatrasal and his Persian Muslim wife, Ruhani Bai. Bajirao wanted him to be accepted as a Hindu Brahmin, but because of he was out of wedlock child , Brahmin priests refused to conduct the Hindu upanayana ceremony for him. His education and military training was conducted in line with other sons of the Peshwa family, even though many Maratha nobles and chiefs didn't recognize Mastani as a legitimate wife of the Peshwa.
