Krimmeri-Meinau Station
Krimmeri-Meinau station (french: Gare de Krimmeri-Meinau) is the last passenger station before the German border on the Appenweier–Strasbourg railway line. Both sides being within the Schengen Area, no passport or border controls apply. The station is situated in the quarter of Strasbourg. Neudorf (Strasbourg)
Neudorf (German for "new village") is a former suburb of Strasbourg, France, and has since become a densely populated and central neighbourhood. It is served by the railway station, the last stop before the Appenweier–Strasbourg railway line enters Germany; and was previously served by the , which is now freight-only. It is administratively grouped with Musau, forming the Neudorf-Musau entity. TER Grand Est or TER Fluo is the regional rail network serving the region of Grand Est, northeastern France. It is operated by the French national railway company SNCF. It was formed in 2016 from the previous TER networks TER Alsace, TER Lorraine and TER Champagne-Ardenne, when the respective regions were merged. History On 1st January 2016, the three administrative regions of Alsace, Lorraine and Champagne-Ardenne merged. Rail transport (also known as train transport) is a means of transport that transfers passengers and goods on wheeled vehicles running on rails, which are incorporated in tracks.
