Krešimir Kozina
Krešimir Kozina (born 25 June 1990) is a Croatian handball player for Frisch Auf Göppingen and the Croatian national team. Club career Kozina started his youth career in RK Matulji before establishing himself in Zamet the premier handball club of Rijeka. After four seasons he moved to NEXE. While there he debuted in his first European competition EHF Cup. In 2013 he moved to Austrian Alpla HC Hard. With the club he started winning his first trophies as a club player. In 2015 Kozina turned down Croatian powerhouse Zagreb and transferred to SG Flensburg-Handewitt where he spent one season. On 29 May 2016 Kozina signed for Füchse Berlin. On 8 September Kozina won the IHF Super Globe with the club. On 8 December Kozina announced that he signed with Frisch Auf Göppingen and that he would be moving in the summer of 2017. Derventa ( sr-cyrl, Дервента) is a city located in Republika Srpska, an entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is situated in the Posavina region, northwest of the city of Doboj. 2017 World Men's Handball Championship
The 2017 IHF World Men's Handball Championship was the 25th event hosted by the International Handball Federation. The event was held in France from 11 to 29 January 2017. France, in a clean sweep, defended their title by defeating Norway 33–26 in the final, which secured France their sixth title. Slovenia defeated Croatia 31–30 to capture the bronze medal. Norway (from a wildcard) and Slovenia earned their first World Championship medals ever. The championship set a record of attendance in total of 540,000 spectators with 23 matches being sold out and with a venue record of 28,010 at both of France's knock-out matches in Lille. Handball At The 2016 Summer Olympics
The handball tournaments at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro was held from 6 to 21 August at the Future Arena in the Barra Olympic Park. The tournaments were won by Denmark in the men's competition and Russia for the women's tournament.
