Max Alexander Kretzschmar (born 12 October 1993) is an English professional footballer who plays for club Wealdstone. Youth career Kretzschmar started at Molesey Juniors at aged 7 before being scouted by Southampton in 2003. Club career Wycombe Wanderers Prior to his career at Wycombe Wanderers, Kretzschmar played for Southampton between the ages of 10 and 14, before being released. He went onto make his professional debut in a 1–0 victory against Morecambe on 3 August 2013. Before even making a league start, Kretzschmar opened his goal account by scoring both goals for Wycombe in their 2–1 win at Hartlepool United on 7 September 2013, having come on at half time for Nick Arnold. Hermann Kretzschmar
August Ferdinand Hermann Kretzschmar (19 January 1848 – 10 May 1924) was a German musicologist and writer, and is considered a founder of hermeneutics in musical interpretation and study. Life and career Born in Olbernhau, Saxony, Kretzschmar was son of the organist and cantor Karl Dankegott Kretzschmar and Karoline Wilhelmine, née Leupold. He was from 1862 a student in the Kreuzschule in Dresden, where from 1867–1868 he was twice Prefect of the Dresdner Kreuzchor. In addition, from 1870 he studied Philology at Leipzig University as well as Music at the Leipzig Conservatory and was awarded his doctorate there. From 1871 he was actively teaching in Theory, Composition, Piano and Organ at the Leipzig Conservatory, and acted as director/conductor for various musical societies. Waltraud Kretzschmar
Waltraud Kretzschmar ( Hermann then Czelake, 1 February 1948 in Kloster Lehnin – 7 February 2018) was an East German handball player who competed in the 1976 Summer Olympics and in the 1980 Summer Olympics. In the 1970s, she was considered the best and most successful handball player in the world. In 1976 she won the silver medal with the East German team. She played three matches including the final and scored eight goals. Four years later she won the bronze medal as a member of the East German. She played one match and scored one goal. Kretzschmar married her coach, Peter Kretzschmar, in 1972. They lived in Schöneiche near Berlin. Stefan Kretzschmar
Stefan Kretzschmar (; born 17 February 1973, in Leipzig) is a retired professional German handball player. The son of Peter Kretzschmar, a legendary handball player and coach in the former GDR (East Germany) and Waltraud Kretzschmar, a former handball player for the East German team and winner of Olympic team medals in silver (1976) and bronze (1980), he was a three-time Olympic athlete and winner of the Olympic silver medal with the German team in 2004. He is well known for his many tattoos and piercings. He ended his active career on 14 July 2007 and currently resides in Magdeburg, Germany, where he continues to hold a position with the local handball club, SC Magdeburg. Jörg Kretzschmar
Jörg Kretzschmar (born 9 December 1964) is a German former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Career Kretzschmar was born in Riesa in the Bezirk Dresden of East Germany and learned his football there. He attempted to leave the Eastern Bloc in 1984 via Bulgaria, but was arrested and imprisoned back in his homeland. A year later, he was allowed to emigrate to West Germany in a prisoner exchange. He played in the Bundesliga for Borussia Mönchengladbach and in the 2. Bundesliga for SV Meppen and Hannover 96. Kretzschmar was part of the Hannover 96 team that surprisingly won the 1992 DFB-Pokal final against Mönchengladbach. Kretzschmar was one of the successful players in the penalty shoot-out. He played his first Bundesliga match on 20 August 1988 when he was subbed in in Mönchengladbach's win over Werder Bremen.
