Yuri Yuryevich "Krash" Krasheninnikov (russian: Юрий Юрьевич Крашенинников; born 19 December 1984) is a Russian beach soccer player currently active as defender. He is Merited Master of Sports of Russia. Career Krasheninnikov graduated from the public school Nr. 453 in Vyborg Rayon. One of his first coaches was Vyacheslav Ivanovich Bulavin. He started playing for the association football club Zenit. He finished the football school Moscow Outpost, there his coach was Dmitry Yuryevich Stepannikov. Krasheninnikov played for beach soccer clubs including TIM and IBS. Since 2009, he plays for his national team, winning with them numerous trophies. Two years later he joined Lokomotiv Moscow, and since 2014 he plays for Kristall. Krasheninnikov played for the Brazilian Corinthians at the 2012 Mundialito de Clubes. The second Mundialito de Clubes (or Club World Cup) was a beach soccer tournament that took place at the Praia do Sol stadium at the Arena Guarapiranga sport complex, located near Represa de Guarapiranga, a reservoir located in São Paulo, Brazil from 12 – 19 May 2012. The stadium has a seating capacity of 3,500 spectators. Beach soccer, also known as beach football, sand football or beasal, is a variant of association football played on a beach or some form of sand. Whilst football has been played informally on beaches, the introduction of ''beach soccer'' was an attempt to codify rules for the game. This was done in 1992 by the founders of Beach Soccer Worldwide, a company set up to develop the sport and responsible for the majority of its tournaments. The 2012 Euro Beach Soccer Cup was held in Moscow. The venue was the Luzhniki Palace of Sports in the Russian capital of Moscow.
