Kranji Railway Station
Kranji Station (KRI) is a class III railway station located in Kranji, West Bekasi, Bekasi, West Java. The station, which is located at an altitude of +18 m, is included in the Operation Area I Jakarta and is the westernmost railway station in Bekasi City and West Java for the Rajawali–Cikampek railway, as well as the northernmost in West Java. This station only serves the Cikarang Loop Line. To the west from this station, before Cakung Station, there used to be Rawabebek Station which has now been demolished due to low occupancy. Building and layout This station has four train lines, one pair for KRL Commuterline services and another pair for long-distance/non-KRL trains to pass through. Kranji MRT Station
Kranji MRT station is an elevated Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the North South line (NSL). Situated in Sungei Kadut, Singapore along Woodlands Road, it serves the Singapore Turf Club and the Woodlands Wafer Fabrication Park. The station is operated by SMRT Trains. Originally not part of the Woodlands MRT extension plans, Kranji station was later included in November 1992. Completed along with the other Woodlands extension stations on 10 February 1996, it is the largest among the stations, designed to handle a large volume of visitors to the Singapore Turf Club. Designed with a kampung-style roof, the station is integrated with other transportation modes and serves cross-border bus services to Johor Bahru. Island Platform
An island platform (also center platform, centre platform) is a station layout arrangement where a single platform is positioned between two tracks within a railway station, tram stop or transitway interchange. Island platforms are popular on twin-track routes due to pragmatic and cost reasons. They are also useful within larger stations where local and express services for the same direction of travel can be provided from opposite sides of the same platform thereby simplifying transfers between the two tracks. An alternative arrangement is to position side platforms on either side of the tracks. The historical use of island platforms depends greatly upon the location. Cikarang Railway Station
Cikarang Station (CKR) is a railway station located at Karangasih, North Cikarang, West Java in Indonesia. Previously the station was only served by regional train services between West Java and Jakarta. It is included in the service area of Jakarta metro commuter rail since October 2017. At present the station serves as the terminal stop for Jakarta metro commuter rail Blue Line. Regional train services such as Jatiluhur (runs between these station and ) and Walahar Express (Cikarang to ) continue to serve this station. KRL Commuterline
KRL Commuterline, or commonly known as Commuterline, is a commuter rail system for Greater Jakarta in Indonesia. It was previously known as KRL Jabodetabek. It is operated by PT KAI Commuter Indonesia (KAI Commuter/KCI), a subsidiary of the Indonesian national railway company PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI). The rail system uses rolling stock of rapid transit standard and operates at high frequency with a minimum headway. Cakung Railway Station
Cakung Station (CUK) is a class I railway station in Pulogebang, Cakung, East Jakarta. The station, which is located at an altitude of +18 m, is included in the Jakarta Operational Area I and only serves the KRL Commuterline route. The station has a total of six railway tracks. The station straddles the border of Jakarta and West Java, even the south and east sides after being extended are administratively located in Bintara, West Bekasi, Bekasi, West Java. Despite this, the station's entrance still lies within the borders of Jakarta, and therefore is stated as part of Jakarta. Cakung is the easternmost station in Jakarta. This station is also a busy station with a very large number of passengers in the morning and evening during rush hour.
