Kotringo
Rieko Miyoshi (三吉里絵子; ''Miyoshi Rieko''; born 17 July 1978), better known by her stage name Kotringo (コトリンゴ), is a Japanese J-pop singer-songwriter and pianist. In 2005, she sent in a demo tape to Ryuichi Sakamoto's "Radio Sakamoto" Audition Corner and caught Sakamoto's interest. She released her first single in November 2006. Biography Early years Kotringo was born in Osaka. She later moved west to Fukuoka, and then back east to Nagoya after she finished her fifth year of elementary school. Kotringo started playing the piano at age five, and began composing music at age seven. The first song she wrote was named "A Kitten's Nap" (子猫のひるね; ''Koneko no Hiru Ne''). is a 2016 Japanese animated wartime drama film produced by MAPPA, co-written and directed by Sunao Katabuchi, featuring character designs by Hidenori Matsubara and music by Kotringo. Mai Mai Miracle
is a Japanese animated film based on Nobuko Takagi's novelization of her autobiography, ''Maimai Shinko''. It was produced by the animation studio Madhouse, distributed by Shochiku, and directed by Sunao Katabuchi. The film debuted at the Locarno International Film Festival in Switzerland on August 15, 2009. The movie's plot is partially based on research on Sei Shōnagon's ''The Pillow Book''. KIRINJI
is a Japanese band from Sakado, Saitama, originally formed by brothers Takaki and Yasuyuki Horigome in October 1996. The two are also pursuing their own solo efforts. In April 2013, Yasuyuki left the band to focus on his solo career. In the summer of that year, Takaki took over and continued the band with the addition of five new members under the name "KIRINJI". On January 31, 2020, Kirinji announced the end of its current band activities. The last live "KIRINJI LIVE 2020" of the four-piece band was held on December 9–10, 2020, ending its eight year activity.
