Charis Kostakis ( el, Χάρης Κωστάκης; born 12 July 1990) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Career Although he was born in Ioannina, Kostakis began playing football in the youth system of Ajax Amsterdam at age 15. Ajax loaned him to Dutch amateur side Stormvogels Telstar at age 19. Kostakis Konstantinou (born 24 September 1968) is a retired Cyprus, Cypriot footballer who played as a defender, and was capped 35 times by the Cyprus national football team, scoring one goal. Career Konstantinou played for four of the biggest clubs in Cyprus: AEL Limassol, AC Omonia, Apollon Limassol and APOEL F.C. In the 1997/98 season he played for English fourth-tier side Barnet F.C., Barnet, but only made one appearance, being substituted after 63 minutes against Cardiff City F.C., Cardiff City on 12 October 1996. His son Alex Konstantinou is also a professional footballer and, like his father, has played football in England and for Apollon Limassol. George Costakis (russian: Георгий Дионисович Костаки, Greek: Γεώργιος Κωστάκης, 5 July 1913 - 9 March 1990) was a collector of Russian avant-garde. In the years surrounding the 1917 revolution, artists in Russia produced the first non-figurative art, which was to become the defining art of the 20th century. Costakis by chance discovered some constructivist paintings in a Moscow studio in 1946, and he went on to search for the revolutionary art which might otherwise have been lost to the world.
