Kosmic Kart
Kosmic Kart is a kart chassis brand being part of OTK Kart Group based in Italy. Kosmic Kart chassis are produced by the Tony Kart factory and share the Tony Kart frames layouts as well as OTK (Original Tony Kart) components. The brand is officially represented internationally by its own factory karting team - Kosmic Racing Department managed by the OneAim SARL company in Luxembourg. Currently (2021) team has 8 drivers in 2 Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile, FIA international direct drive categories - OK (karting), OK and OKJ (karting), OKJ. The Kosmic Free Music Foundation (a.k.a. Kosmic, or KFMF) was a worldwide group of computer musicians, artists, and coders focused on the IBM PC, PC demoscene. Most members were from the United States, Canada, and Australia. Tony Kart is an Italian company (a brand of OTK Kart Group), that produces racing kart chassis. It was founded in 1958 by Antonio "Tony" Bosio. It is based in Prevalle near Brescia in northern Italy. Tony Kart chassis have been used to win several races and championships both nationally and internationally. Its drivers have included Formula One stars such as Michael Schumacher, Sebastian Vettel and Jarno Trulli. OK (karting)
KF2, is a kart racing class for top drivers aged 14 and up. This class used to be called Intercontinental A (ICA) and has changed since January 2007 when CIK-FIA decided to replace the 100 cc water-cooled two-stroke engines with 125 cc Touch-and-Go (TaG) water-cooled two-stroke engines (KF type). The engines produce . The KF2 class karts use hand-operated front brakes via a lever. The chassis must be approved by the CIK-FIA. Minimum weight with driver is 160 kg for national and 158 kg for international events. Karts are equipped with an electric starter and a centrifugal clutch. The engine rpm is limited at 15,000 rpm. It is one of the highest kart classes and is run in both national and continental championships, with the most prestigious being the European Championship and the World Cup. OK-Junior is a kart racing class for top drivers aged 11 to 15 (drivers must reach the age of 12 within the first semester of calendar year). This class used to be called Junior Intercontinental A (JICA or ICA-J) and has changed since January 2007 when CIK-FIA decided to replace the 100 cc air-cooled two-stroke engines with 125 cc Touch-and-Go (TaG) water-cooled two-stroke engines (KF type).The engines produce . Karting World Championship
The Karting World Championship is a kart racing competition organised by the CIK-FIA. It is held annually since 1964, and is karting's flagship event. The FIA (International Automobile Federation) created the CIK (International Karting Commission) in 1962. The Current President of the Championship is former Formula 1 driver Felipe Massa. Rotax Max Challenge
The Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals (RMC) is a kart racing series owned and organized worldwide by BRP-Powertrain and its distributors, approved and in compliance with CIK-FIA. Competition takes place on a club, national and international level which culminates in the Grand Finals once a year.
