Kosel ( mk, Косел) is a village in the municipality of Ohrid, North Macedonia. The village is known for its proximity to the extinct volcano Duvalo, which gives the village and its surroundings a permanent sulphuric scent. The population of Kosel Municipality, which merged with Ohrid Municipality in 2002, was 1,369. Demographics According to the 2002 census, the village had a total of 586 inhabitants. The municipalities are the first-order administrative divisions of North Macedonia.
