Korean Police Baseball Team
Korean Police Baseball Team ( ko, 경찰 야구단) was a South Korean amateur baseball team that existed from 2005 to 2019, and competed in the KBO Futures League from 2006 through 2019.Kim Hyo-Kyung"Woop-woop! The Police were not affiliated with any single KBO League team, instead fielding a roster made of players from many of the KBO franchises. Over the Police team's history, however, it had a preponderance of players from the Doosan Bears franchise. KBO Futures League () or Korea Baseball Futures League is Baseball in South Korea, South Korea's second level of baseball, below the KBO League. It serves as a Farm team, farm league with the purpose to develop professional players on-demand to play in the KBO League. The league consists of two divisions — the Southern League and the Northern League. These leagues are governed by the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO). The league plays an 80-game season. Son Seung-lak
Son Seung-lak ( Hangul: 손승락, Hanja: 孫勝洛) (born March 4, 1982 in Daegu) is a retired South Korean closer who played for the Hyundai Unicorns, the Nexen Heroes, and the Lotte Giants in the Korea Professional Baseball. He bats and throws right-handed. Amateur career While attending Daegu High School, Son's main position was shortstop in the team. During his last season in Daegu High School, he occasionally appeared in games as a relief pitcher for the team and his 90+ mph fastball drew the attention of Korea Professional Baseball scouts, and he was drafted as a pitcher by the Hyundai Unicorns in in the 2nd round and as the 33rd pick overall. Hur Kyoung-min (Hangul: 허경민; born August 26, 1990) is a South Korean shortstop who plays for the Doosan Bears in the KBO League. He bats and throws right-handed. SK Wyverns
SSG Landers () are a South Korean professional baseball team. The team was originally established as the SK Wyverns but was renamed as the SSG Landers in 2021 after Shinsegae acquired the team from SK Group. They are a member of the KBO League. Based in Incheon, they play their home games at Incheon SSG Landers Field. History 2000: Formation (SK Wyverns) In the 2000 season, the Ssangbangwool Raiders, a team that had represented the Jeollabuk-do region since 1990, was dissolved because of the bankruptcy of the Ssangbangwool Group, the team's owner. Han Yoo-seom (formerly Han Dong-min; born August 9, 1989, in Busan) is a South Korean outfielder who plays for the SSG Landers in the Korea Baseball Organization. He bats left-handed and throws right-handed. The Samsung Lions () are a South Korean professional baseball team founded in 1982. They are based in the southeastern city of Daegu and are members of the KBO League. Cho Young-Hun or Jo Young-Hoon (; born November 12, 1982) is a South Korean former first baseman, who played 11 seasons in the KBO League with the Samsung Lions, Kia Tigers, and NC Dinos. He bats and throws left-handed. Byun Jin-soo (; born 1 April 1993) is a South Korean professional baseball pitcher who is currently playing for the Kia Tigers of KBO League. He graduated from Choongam High School (leading the school to victory in the 2011 Hwanggeumsajagi National High School Baseball Championship) and was selected for the Doosan Bears by a draft in 2012 (2nd draft, 2nd round). The Hanwha Eagles ( ko, 한화 이글스) are a South Korean professional baseball team based in Daejeon. They are a member of the KBO League. The Eagles' home ballpark is Daejeon Hanbat Baseball Stadium.
