Han Dong-min
Han Yoo-seom (formerly Han Dong-min; born August 9, 1989, in Busan) is a South Korean outfielder who plays for the SSG Landers in the Korea Baseball Organization. He bats left-handed and throws right-handed. Amateur career As a junior at Kyungsung University in Busan, Han was named KBA Best Collegiate Hitter, batting .348 (32-for 92) with 23 RBI and 3 home runs in the 2010 season. In 2011, Han got his first call-up to the South Korea national baseball team and competed at the 2011 Baseball World Cup in Panama, as a center fielder. He hit a single off Eliecer Navarro of Panama in Round 2 but struggled at the plate during the tourney, going 1-for-9. Outfielder
An outfielder is a person playing in one of the three defensive positions in baseball or softball, farthest from the batter. These defenders are the left fielder, the center fielder, and the right fielder. As an outfielder, their duty is to catch fly balls and ground balls then to return them to the infield for the out or before the runner advances, if there are any runners on the bases. As an outfielder, they normally play behind the six players located in the field. By convention, each of the nine defensive positions in baseball is numbered. The outfield positions are 7 (left field), 8 (center field) and 9 (right field). In human biology, handedness is an individual's preferential use of one hand, known as the dominant hand, due to it being stronger, faster or more dextrous. The Korea Baseball Organization (KBO; ko, 한국야구위원회) is the governing body for the professional leagues of baseball in South Korea. The KBO was founded in 1981 and has governed two leagues: the KBO League ( ko, KBO 리그) and KBO Futures League ( ( farm league) since 1982. 2018 Korean Series
The 2018 Korean Series is the championship series of the 2018 KBO League season. The Doosan Bears, as the regular season champions, automatically advanced to the Korean Series, where they faced the SK Wyverns. The series ran from November 4 to November 12. Pinch Hitter
In baseball, a pinch hitter is a substitute Batting (baseball), batter. Eliecer Navarro (born 26 October 1987 in David, Chiriquí, Panama) is a minor league baseball pitcher in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization. He pitched for Panama in the 2009 World Baseball Classic. A center fielder, abbreviated CF, is the outfielder in baseball who plays defense in center field – the baseball and softball fielding position between left field and right field. In the numbering system used to record defensive plays, the center fielder is assigned the number 8. The 2011 Baseball World Cup (BWC) was the 39th international Men's amateur baseball tournament. The tournament was sanctioned by the International Baseball Federation, which titled it the Amateur World Series from the 1938 tournament through the 1986 AWS. Panama were first-time hosts (beating out bids from Chinese Taipei and Venezuela), with games held in four cities, from October 1 to 15. The Netherlands defeated Cuba in the final, winning its first title, and only the second ever for a European team, after Great Britain's win of the inaugural 1938 AWS.
