Kopil Bora
Kopil Bora ( as, কপিল বৰা) is an Assamese actor, anchor and All India Radio voice artist. He debuted in Bidyut Chakravarty's 2002 Assamese film ''Gun Gun Gane Gane'' and known for his performance in ''Mon'' (2002), ''Ahir Bhairav'' (2008), ''Jetuka Pator Dore'' (2011) and ''Dwaar'' (2013). Early life Kopil Bora was born on 30 March. He went to high school at Don Bosco High School, Guwahati and later attended college at Cotton College, Guwahati. He currently lives in Guwahati. ''Dwaar'' ( as, দুৱাৰ, ''The Voyage out'') is a 2013 Indian Assamese drama film directed by Bidyut Chakravarty, with his own screenplay, and produced by Sanjive Narain and Bidyut Chakravarty himself. Munin Barua
Munin Barua ( as, মুনিন বৰুৱা; 5 November 1946 – 7 April 2018) was an Indian film director in Assamese cinematography. Among his best-known films are ''Pita-Putro'', ''Prabhati Pokhir Gaan'', ''Hiya Diya Niya'', Daag, '' Nayak'' and ''Bidhata''. Barua is widely regarded in Assam to have been one of the directors who helped popularize and establish Assamese cinema outside the state, primarily elsewhere in India where other industries had historically dominated. The Sahitya Akademi, India's National Academy of Letters, is an organisation dedicated to the promotion of literature in the languages of India.
