2004–05 Ukrainian Cup
The Ukrainian Cup 2004–05 was the 14th annual edition of Ukraine's football knockout competition, known as the Ukrainian Cup. The first game was conducted on August 4, 2004 with the game between Rava and Shakhtar Donetsk in Rava-Ruska, Lviv Region. However other sources with a reference to the Professional Football League of Ukraine state that the competition started on August 6, 2004 with game between Olkom and Dynamo Kyiv in Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Traditionally the final took place in late May of the next year where the same Shakhtar yielded to Dynamo Kyiv at the Olympic Stadium 0:1. It was the last season of the format that did not involve any qualification and preliminary rounds. Kolos Stadium (Borispil)
Kolos Stadium is a multifunctional facility, primarily used for football and field hockey located in Boryspil, Kyiv Oblast, Ukraine. Currently the Ukrainian Premier League football club Arsenal Kyiv plays their home games at the stadium. History The stadium was initially constructed after the Second World War and had a capacity for 7,500 spectators. In 1997 the facility was reconstructed and modernized with individual seating as well change rooms, a special medical room and massage facilities and new parking arena. The capacity was reduced to 5,654 with approximately 2,000 covered seats. The hockey facility has a separate arena which is uses a synthetic turf and a small covered stadium with a capacity for 1,500 spectators. Ukrainian Amateur Cup
The Ukrainian Amateur Cup ( uk, Кубок України з футболу серед аматорських команд) or AAFU Cup ( uk, Кубок ААФУ) is a national cup competition in Ukraine for amateur clubs. The nationwide competition among amateur teams in cup format (Olympic system) was revived in the 1996–97 season and since 2008 the winner receives the right to progress to the Ukrainian Cup which serves professional clubs. Format The Cup is intended to be organised between the Cup holders of the regional tournaments, but in reality it is an optional invitational tournament among teams that are delegated by selected regions ( oblasts of Ukraine and autonomous republic of Crimea).
