Kodolányi János University
Kodolányi János University (Hungarian: ''Kodolányi János Egyetem'' or KJU in short) is a Private university, private higher education institution in Hungary with its main campus in Budapest. It has regional campuses in Székesfehérvár and Orosháza. According to its mission statement, the university is dedicated to fostering moral citizenship and promoting local identities. KJU is among the earliest private higher education institutions created in Hungary following the collapse of the communist regime. As of 2023, Kodolányi János University has 3000 students organised into fourteen departments. It offers Bachelor's and Master's programmes in Hungarian and English. Sarolta Kovács (born 12 March 1991) is a Hungarian modern pentathlete. An individual and team World Champion, she competed in the modern pentathlon at the 2012, 2016 and 2020 Summer Olympics. Career In 2016, she was the surprise winner of the UIPM World Championships, as she missed much of the competitive season due to injury. The championships were held in Moscow, where previously she had won World Championship silver in 2011. Gergely Böszörményi-Nagy (born August 1, 1984) is an entrepreneur and former public servant who founded Brain Bar and the current chairman of the board of Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design. János Kodolányi (''Kodolányi János''; Telki, March 13, 1899 – Budapest, August 10, 1969) Hungarian writer of short stories, dramas, novels and sociographies. The Kodolányi János University of Applied Sciences was named after him.
