Kodi Augustus
Kodi Jerome Augustus (born November 2, 1987) is an American former professional basketball player. He played college basketball for Mississippi State. High school career Augustus originally attended Tara High School in his hometown of Baton Rouge, Louisiana before transferring to Willowridge High School in Houston, Texas for his junior season. As a junior in 2005–06, he averaged 16.9 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game as he earned first-team All-District 20-5A honors. He was also selected to the 2006 Houston Area Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Game, and was rated seventh among Texas recruits by Rivals.com in 2006. In November 2006, Augustus signed a National Letter of Intent to play college basketball for Mississippi State University. The power forward (PF), also known as the four or strong forward, is a position in basketball. Power forwards play a role similar to centers. When on offense, they typically play with their backs towards the basket. When on defense, they typically position themselves under the basket in a zone defense or against the opposing power forward in man-to-man defense. The Appalachian State Mountaineers men's basketball team is the college basketball team at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. Richard Lee Stansbury (born December 23, 1959), is an American college basketball and the current head coach of the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers basketball team. Postgraduate Year
A postgraduate (PG) year is an extra year of secondary coursework at a boarding school following high school graduation, but before entering college. It is a gap year option intended for students who either have not applied or were not admitted to college. At most schools, postgraduate students are integrated with the senior class, where they are able to participate in the same activities and sports, as well as living and eating arrangements, as the seniors. In the United States, most of the programs are in New England. They started around the 1960s and were sponsored by the U.S. military academies, who would accept students after the one-year program.
