Knut Magne Myrland
Knut Magne Myrland (23 March 1948 – 24 April 2021) was a Norwegian singer, guitarist and songwriter. Career Born in Harstad, Myrland worked as a sailor, but had to end this career due to injuries from an accident. He started a new career as musician, and his first album was ''Isbål'' from 1976. Further albums are ''Gjengrodd sti'' (1977) and ''78° nord'' (1978). His album ''Morild'' from 1978 also introduced singer Randi Hansen, after which she had her own music career. The albums ''In From The Cold'' (1979) and ''Myrland'' (1980) were collaborations with Jonas Fjeld and his band. In 1982 he issued the album ''Ækte'', and ''Fann æ'' was issued in 1983. In 1997 he issued the compilation album ''Vante folk''. Myrland resided in Bodø Bodø (; smj, Bådåddjo, sv, Bodö) is a municipality in Nordland county, Norway. Harstad ( sme, Hárstták) is a town in Harstad Municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. The town is also the administrative centre of the municipality of Harstad. The town has a population (2017) of 20,953 which gives the town a population density of . It is the second-largest town in the former Troms county, after the city of Tromsø, and it is the largest town in Central Hålogaland. The town is located on the northeastern part of the large island of Hinnøya, along the Vågsfjorden. Randi Hansen
Randi Hansen (born 24 November 1958, in Tromsø) is a Norwegian pop singer who formerly lived in Harstad, where she had a background as a music teacher at Heggen videregående skole. She was most active in the 1980s, and is best known for the song "Hvis æ fikk være sola di", which is on her debut album, ''Ho Randi''. This sold 80,000 copies. She released six solo albums before she took a pause in her career and raised a family,Kurt Bakkemoen: ''Familien har kommet i første rekke''. Article in ''Verdens Gang, VG'' 10 November 2008 page 28 and has worked on twelve other albums. However, in 2008, she came back with a new album: ''Tid som går''. Jonas Fjeld
Jonas Fjeld (born Terje Lillegård Jensen; 24 September 1952) is a Norwegian singer, songwriter, and guitarist. He is best known in the English-speaking world for two albums recorded by Danko/Fjeld/Andersen, a collaboration with Canadian Rick Danko of The Band and American singer-songwriter Eric Andersen. Fjeld also recorded three albums with the American bluegrass group Chatham County Line. Biography Fjeld took his stage name from the principal character of a series of novels written by Øvre Richter Frich. Although he was born in Bodø, he moved with his family to Drammen, Norway when he was a child. Fjeld's first recording contract was with the Jonas Fjeld Rock 'n' Rolf Band, a comedy band which included Herodes Falsk, in 1972. He switched to acoustic folk after listening to Eric Andersen's album Blue River. His first solo album, ', was released in 1975.
