Knut Bohwim
Knut Bohwim (12 March 1931 – 16 June 2020) was a leading Norwegian film director. He co-founded the company ''Teamfilm A/S'' in 1962. His debut as film director was ''Operasjon Sjøsprøyt'' from 1964. He directed the war drama '' Det største spillet'' from 1967, about the double agent Gunvald Tomstad. He directed twelve films of the '' Olsenbanden'' series, the largest commercial success in Norwegian film history. Oslo
Oslo ( , , or ; sma, Oslove) is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality. Olsen Gang
The ''Olsen Gang'' ( da, Olsen-banden, no, Olsenbanden, german: Die Olsenbande) is a Danish comedy film series created by Danish director Erik Balling and special effects expert Henning Bahs about the eponymous fictional criminal gang. The gang's leader is the criminal genius and habitual offender Egon Olsen and his accomplices are Benny and Kjeld (Kjell in Norwegian). The gang members are harmless, extremely rarely target ordinary citizens, and never deliberately use violence. The first film came in 1968; during the next thirty years a total of fourteen films were made. A Norwegian version of the film series was also made (a total of 14 films from 1969 to 1999), in most cases based directly on the scripts for the Danish films. Alexia Bohwim
Alexia Bohwim or Alexia Knutsdatter Bohwim (born March 13, 1969, in Oslo) is a Norwegian writer, animal rights activist and feminist. Life Bohwim made her debut in 2008 with the cult novel ''Frognerfitter''. The book is about two girlfriends Billie and Susie, who live at Frogner in Oslo (where Bohwim grew up), and describes their lifestyle which includes a lot of drinking and sex, and addresses some of the myths that exist about people who live there. The book was published by Kagge Forlag and sold 40,000 copies. Since then, Bohwim has written two books, MILF (2010) and Golddigger (2012), and has created a blog. This was later censored and banned. She has acquired the reputation of being outspoken and controversial. She has outspoken views about sex roles, life in Frogner and feminism. Gunvald Tomstad
Gunvald Jørg Tomstad (2 August 1918 – 12 May 1970) was a major agent of the British SIS, and a Norwegian resistance member during World War II. From 1941 to 1943, he was a mole or double agent while also operating a clandestine radio transmitter in the Flekkefjord area. These were two of the most dangerous roles in that war. Biography Tomstad was born in Nes, Vest-Agder as a son of a young farmer and journalist. His father died in the influenza pandemic of 1918, so he and his sisters were raised mainly by their maternal grandparents. In addition to working as a farmer, he was a typographer in the newspaper ''Agder'', until the newspaper was closed due to the German occupation of Norway. Knut Helle
Knut Helle (19 December 1930 – 27 June 2015) was a Norwegian historian. A professor at the University of Bergen from 1973 to 2000, he specialized in the late medieval history of Norway. He has contributed to several large works. Amanda is a Latin feminine gerundive (i.e. verbal adjective) name meaning, literally, “she who must (or is fit to) be loved”.
