Stockbridge is a town in Calumet County, Wisconsin. The population was 1,456 at the time of the 2010 census. The village of Stockbridge, and the unincorporated communities of Kloten, Quinney, and Saint Catherines Bay are located within the town. Geography Stockbridge is in western Calumet County, on the eastern shore of Lake Winnebago. The village of Stockbridge is slightly north of the center of the town. Ty Bodden
Ty Bodden (born December 15, 1993) is an American Republican politician. He is a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing Wisconsin's 59th Assembly district since January 2023. He is the former chairman of the Republican Party of Calumet County, Wisconsin, and previously served on the Stockbridge, Wisconsin, village board. Biography He graduated from Stockbridge High School, in Stockbridge, Wisconsin, in 2012 and went on to University of Wisconsin–Green Bay, where he earned his bachelor's degree in political science and public administration in 2016. He then completed his master's in public administration from Arkansas State University. During college, he worked as a ranch hand at Cristo Rey Ranch, which provides animal therapy for children and the elderly with intellectual disabilities. Kloten is a municipality in the district of Bülach in the canton of Zürich in Switzerland, and belongs to the Glatt Valley (german: Glatttal). Chilton, Wisconsin
Chilton is a city in and county seat of Calumet County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. The population was 4,080 at the 2020 census. The city is located partially within the Town of Chilton. History The first residents of Chilton were African-American former slave Moses Stanton and his Native-American wife, Catherine, who arrived in January 1845. The city formed around his saw mill and a grist mill a few years later. The village was originally called Stantonville. John Marygold bought the place in 1852 and called it "Chilington," referring to Chillington Hall in England. He sent a verbal message to have the name change recorded in Stockbridge, then the county seat. Because the middle ''ing'' in the name was accidentally omitted, the municipality was recorded as Chilton. Lake Winnebago
Lake Winnebago ( mez, Wenepekōw Nepēhsæh, oj, Wiinibiigoo-zaaga'igan, one, kanyataláheleˀ) is a shallow freshwater lake in the north central United States, located in east central Wisconsin. At 137,700 acres it is the largest lake entirely within the state, covering an area of about 30 miles by 10 miles, with 88 miles of shoreline, an average depth of 15.5 feet, and a maximum depth of 21 feet. Calumet County is a county located in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. As of the 2020 census, the population was 52,442. The county seat is Chilton. The county was created in 1836 (then in the Wisconsin Territory) and organized in 1850.
