''Klassfesten'' ("The Class Reunion") is a 2002 Swedish comedy/drama film written and directed by Måns Herngren and Hannes Holm. The film stars Björn Kjellman, Cecilia Frode, Inday Ba, Henrik Hjelt, Lisa Lindgren and Ulf Friberg. The film was released on 27 February 2002 in Sweden. Plot 20 years after Magnus Edkvist ( Björn Kjellman) graduated from the ninth grade in Hagsätra, he gets an invitation to a class reunion. He declines the invitation, because he doesn't want to relive some of the most embarrassing moments of his life. Magnus rather stays home with his wife Lollo (Cecilia Frode) and his daughter. But when Magnus starts to think about his teenage crush, Hillevi (Inday Ba), and whether she will go or not. He decides to go to the reunion, in hope that Hillevi will show up. Björn Kjellman
John Björn Sture Kjellman (born 4 June 1963), is a Swedish actor and singer. Kjellman was born in Östra Grevie, Scania. He played roles in Swedish movies like ''Klassfesten'' and '' Livet är en schlager'', in which he plays a Melodifestivalen-obsessed transvestite who is brother to Helena Bergström's character, who takes part in the Swedish Melodifestivalen in the movie. Kjellman participated in Melodifestivalen 2006 with the song "Älskar du livet", and reached the final where it ended up 9th. He played the iconic Pelle in SVT 1997 Julkalender ”Pelle Svanslös”. Cecilia Frode
Pia Ingela Cecilia Frode is a Swedish actress born on 14 August 1970 in Linköping. Career Frode graduated from the theatre school in Malmö in 1994. She also won a Guldbagge Award for Best Supporting Actress in the Swedish comedy film Klassfesten. On the theater stage, she has gained a reputation for her self-produced play "Ängelen" (The Angel) and is currently working on the new play "En stjärt på himlen" (A butt in the sky) in which she is alone on the stage, but accompanied by a four-man orchestra. Måns Herngren (born 20 April 1965) is a Swedish actor and noted director. Almost all of his films are done together with his friend Hannes Holm. He is the older brother to actor and comedian Felix Herngren. Måns Herngren was married to Lena Philipsson from 1993 to 2002. He was married to former high jumper Kajsa Bergqvist, but their divorce was announced early 2011. Carola Ingrid Margareta Segerstedt Luterkort (''née'' Eklundh, 28 June 1910 – 3 August 2011) was a Swedish actress and stage director, whose professional career spanned from the 1930s until 2010. Born in Lund, Luterkort studied in the Royal Dramatic Training Academy (1932–1934) together with Ingrid Bergman, Gunnar Björnstrand and Signe Hasso. She made her debut at the Royal Dramatic Theatre in 1933. She taught Theatre Studies at Stockholm University 1970–1977. Luterkort remained active into her 90s. Some of her films are ''Barnen från Frostmofjället'' (1945) and ''Klassfesten'' (2002). In 1998, she released a book on theatre history, ''Om igen, herr Molander!''. Personal life Luterkort was married twice. From 1935 until 1952, she was married to Einar Luterkort. After that marriage ended in divorce, she married Bengt Segerstedt. Inday Ba
Inday Ba (10 August 1972 – 20 April 2005), also known as N'Deaye Ba, was a Swedish-British film, stage, and television actress of Senegalese descent born in Gothenburg, Sweden. One of her most notable Swedish on-screen roles was as Hillevi in the romantic comedy Klassfesten (2002) opposite Björn Kjellman. She appeared in ''Trial & Retribution'' as "DC Lisa West" from 2002 until 2003. She died from kidney failure and other complications of lupus at age 32, shortly after filming her last role in the ITV drama serial ''Jericho''. Ba, along with her mother, filmed the progression of the disease in the documentary ''The Wolf Inside''.
