Ingrid Luterkort
Carola Ingrid Margareta Segerstedt Luterkort (''née'' Eklundh, 28 June 1910 – 3 August 2011) was a Swedish actress and stage director, whose professional career spanned from the 1930s until 2010. Born in Lund, Luterkort studied in the Royal Dramatic Training Academy (1932–1934) together with Ingrid Bergman, Gunnar Björnstrand and Signe Hasso. She made her debut at the Royal Dramatic Theatre in 1933. She taught Theatre Studies at Stockholm University 1970–1977. Luterkort remained active into her 90s. Some of her films are ''Barnen från Frostmofjället'' (1945) and ''Klassfesten'' (2002). In 1998, she released a book on theatre history, ''Om igen, herr Molander!''. Personal life Luterkort was married twice. From 1935 until 1952, she was married to Einar Luterkort. After that marriage ended in divorce, she married Bengt Segerstedt. This marriage lasted until 1986, when her husband died. Luterkort turned 100 years old and celebrated by reading ''Dagens Dikt'' on the radio. ...

Lund, Sweden
Lund (, , ) is a city in the southern Swedish provinces of Sweden, province of Scania, across the Øresund, Öresund strait from Copenhagen. The town had 91,940 inhabitants out of a municipal total of 121,510 . It is the seat of Lund Municipality, Scania County. The Øresund Region, Öresund Region, which includes Lund, is home to more than 4.1 million people. Archeologists date the foundation of Lund to around 990, when Scania was part of Denmark. From 1103 it was the seat of the Catholic Metropolitan Archdiocese of Lund, and the towering Lund Cathedral, built circa 1090–1145, still stands at the centre of the town. Denmark ceded the city to Sweden in the Treaty of Roskilde in 1658, and its status as part of Sweden was formalised in 1720. Lund University, established in 1666, is one of Scandinavia's oldest and largest institutions for education and research.

''The Case of Ingegerd Bremssen'' (Swedish: ''Fallet Ingegerd Bremssen'') is a 1942 Swedish drama film directed by Anders Henrikson and starring Sonja Wigert, Henrikson, Dagmar Ebbesen and Gösta Cederlund. It was based on a 1937 novel of the same title by Dagmar Edqvist.Brunsdale p.424 It was shot at the Sundbyberg Studios in Stockholm. The film's sets were designed by the art director Max Linder. Synopsis A young nurse Ingegerd Bremssen is assaulted and raped on a lonely road. She is taken to hospital but is extremely traumatised by the attack, and it leads to the breakdown of her engagement with a young army Lieutenant. From a staunchly conservative background she believes her honour has been violated and her life is impossible to rebuild. When she encounters her rapist again she shoots him dead. The Swedish Film Institute ( sv, Svenska Filminstitutet) was founded in 1963 to support and develop the Swedish film industry. The institute is housed in the ''Filmhuset'' building located in Gärdet, Östermalm in Stockholm. The building, completed in 1970, was designed by architect Peter Celsing. Function The Swedish Film Institute supports Swedish filmmaking and allocates grants for production, distribution and public showing of Swedish films in Sweden. It also promotes Swedish cinema internationally. Furthermore, the Institute organises the annual Guldbagge Awards. The Swedish Film Database is published by the institute.
