Kjell Bull-Hansen
Kjell Bull-Hansen (31 May 1923 – 24 March 1945) was a Norwegian resistance member who was killed during the occupation of Norway by Nazi Germany. Pre-war life He was born in Oslo and lived in Vestre Aker, at Tåsen. Before World War II he attended a technical evening school, and took classes in drawing, painting and mechanics. World War II During the occupation of Norway by Nazi Germany, he became involved in Milorg. He joined District 13's sabotage squad Aks 13000, and served as one of several team leaders. One of the notable missions led by Bull-Hansen was the sabotage against the garage belonging to the company Freia in November 1944. The goal was to blow up the workshop for repairing airplane parts with of dynamite and some plastic explosives. The dynamite was split in two packs, and Bull-Hansen brought one pack to Freia via bicycle. He also supplied matchsticks. Oslo
Oslo ( , , or ; sma, Oslove) is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality. Tønsberg Station
Tønsberg Station on the Vestfold Line, is the main railway station in the town of Tønsberg in Vestfold, Norway. The station is located in the downtown area, to the east of the hill Slottsfjellet. It is located at an altitude of above mean sea level, and is from Oslo Central Station. The current station is from 1915. History The first station at Knapløkken was a railway station built by the private Tønsberg–Eidsfoss Line. It received a station building of the smallest type used on the line, with only two rooms, and consisted further of a passing loop and an outhouse. The station had an extensive track arrangement with seven tracks and place for 203 freight cars. The station opened on 18 October 1901. The Cemetery of Our Saviour ( no, Vår Frelsers gravlund) is a cemetery in Oslo, Norway, located north of Hammersborg in Gamle Aker district. It is located adjacent to the older Old Aker Cemetery and was created in 1808 as a result of the great famine and cholera epidemic of the Napoleonic Wars. Its grounds were extended in 1911. The cemetery has been full and thus closed for new graves since 1952, with interment only being allowed in existing family graves. The cemetery includes five sections, including ''Æreslunden'', Norway's main honorary burial ground, and the western, southern, eastern and northern sections. Hirden
''Hirden'' (the ''hird'') was a uniformed paramilitary organisation during the occupation of Norway by Nazi Germany, modelled the same way as the German Sturmabteilungen. Overview Vidkun Quisling's fascist party Nasjonal Samling frequently used words and symbols from the old Norse Viking era. During the Second World War, membership was compulsory for all Nasjonal Samling members. In total, about 8,500 Norwegians were members of ''Hirden'' during the war. The organisation was dissolved after the liberation, and many of its former members were prosecuted and convicted for treason and collaboration. Aass Brewery (Norwegian: ''Aass Bryggeri'') is Norway's oldest brewery still active. Founded in 1834 in Drammen, Norway, the brewery's primary products are beer and aquavit.
