Kirill Alekseenko
Kirill Alexeyevich Alekseenko (russian: Кирилл Алексеевич Алексеенко; born 22 June 1997) is a Russian chess grandmaster. Personal life Alekseenko was born in Vyborg, and moved to Saint Petersburg as a child. His father was a soldier and his mother was a teacher. Alekseenko is a student at Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University. Together with 43 other Russian elite chess players, Alekseenko signed an open letter to Russian president Vladimir Putin, protesting against the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine and expressing solidarity with the Ukrainian people. Nguyễn Ngọc Trường Sơn
Nguyễn Ngọc Trường Sơn (; born 23 February 1990) is a Vietnamese chess player. He is the youngest Vietnamese ever to become a Grandmaster, and one of the youngest grandmasters in the history of the game, having qualified for the title at the age of fourteen. Chess career Trường Sơn learned to play chess at the age of 3. He won a gold medal at the World Youth Championships in the Under 10 category in 2000. In 2006 Trường Sơn won the Asian Junior (under 20) Championship in New Delhi, on tiebreak over Shiyam Sundar after they both finished on 7/9 points. Fabiano Luigi Caruana (born July 30, 1992) is an American chess grandmaster. A chess prodigy, Caruana became a grandmaster at the age of 14 years, 11 months, and 20 days—the youngest grandmaster in the history of both Italy and the United States at the time. Born in Miami to Italian parents, Caruana grew up in Park Slope, Brooklyn. He played for the United States until 2005, when he transferred his national federation affiliation to Italy. Wang Hao (; born August 4, 1989) is a Chinese chess grandmaster. In November 2009, Wang became the fourth Chinese player to break through the 2700 Elo rating mark. In 2019, he qualified for the 2020 Candidates Tournament by winning the FIDE Grand Swiss Tournament 2019, making him the second Chinese player to qualify for a Candidates Tournament.
