Kiran Navgire
Kiran Prabhu Navgire (born 18 September 1994) is an Indian cricketer. She currently plays for India women and Nagaland women. She set the record for the highest individual score in Women's Senior T20 Trophy, while scoring an unbeaten 162 for Nagaland against Arunachal Pradesh in 2022. She is the only Indian (male or female) to score over 150 in a T20 match. Kiran Navgire's father is a farmer while her mother is a homemaker. She has two brothers. She had initially been into athletics, before pursuing a career as a cricketer. She first played cricket during her graduation days at the Savitribai Phule Pune University. She represented the university cricket team from 2013–14 to 2015–16 seasons without any formal training. She had also represented Pune University in the athletic events of javelin throw, shot put and 100 meters. The shot put is a track and field event involving "putting" (throwing) a heavy spherical ball—the ''shot''—as far as possible. The shot put competition for men has been a part of the modern Olympics since their revival in 1896, and women's competition began in 1948. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. The India women's cricket team toured England to play against the England women's cricket team in September 2022. The tour consisted of three Women's One Day Internationals (WODIs) and three Women's Twenty20 Internationals (WT20Is). The WODI matches were part of 2022–2025 ICC Women's Championship, with the final match of the tour taking place at Lord's. In August 2022, India named their squads for the tour and it was announced that Jhulan Goswami would retire from international cricket after playing the series. On 8 September 2022, England captain Nat Sciver announced that she decided to withdraw from the series "to focus on her mental health and well being". IPL Trailblazers were an Indian cricket team. They were founded in 2018 to compete in the Women's T20 Challenge, which they competed in until the tournament ended in 2022. They won the tournament once, beating Supernovas in the final of the 2020 Women's T20 Challenge by 16 runs. 2022 Women's T20 Challenge
The 2022 Women's T20 Challenge, also known as the My 11 Circle Women's T20 Challenge for sponsorship reasons, was the fourth and final season of the Women's T20 Challenge, a Twenty20 tournament established by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in 2018. Similar to the previous edition, it was a three-team tournament consisting of a group stage of three matches, followed by a final. In the final, IPL Supernovas beat IPL Velocity by 4 runs to win their 3rd title. The tournament was replaced by the Women's Premier League.
