King Of Clubs (TV Series)
''King of Clubs'' was an adult reality series aired on Playboy TV that ended in May 2009. It revolved around the Gentile family and their operation of Las Vegas' historic Palomino Strip Club. Premise The show premise is based upon the real business operations of Nevada attorney Dominic Gentile. In 2006, he purchased the Palomino Club to cover legal fees from former owner Luis Hidalgo III. Since the acquisition, Gentile's son Adam has overseen daily operations and his ex-wife, Michelle, has managed the accounting. Originally featured on ''Gene Simmons Family Jewels'', producers felt the story and club staff would make for a compelling reality series on its own. Though much too risque for A&E, the show was pitched to and picked up by Playboy TV in late 2008. Playboy TV (originally The Playboy Channel) is a pay television channel based in the United States. History The channel first launched on December 9, 1980, as Escapade by Rainbow Programing Services (a joint-venture of four cable companies, led by Cablevision). At launch, Escapade aired mostly R rated B movies. The channel aired five nights a week from 9 PM to 4 or 6 AM, Tuesday through Saturday. Sunday and Monday nights were reserved for Rainbow's other new channel Bravo. The satellite time the two networks used was subleased from National Christian Network. Palomino Club (Las Vegas)
The Palomino Club is a landmark North Las Vegas strip club. Since 2006 the club has been owned by Adam Gentile. History It was founded in 1969 but the building was built a couple decades prior. One of the notable differences between the Palomino and other Las Vegas strip clubs, is that it is allowed to have both a liquor license, and totally nude dancers. Other clubs with liquor licenses are restricted to topless dancers. This difference, according to 2003-2006 owner Luis Hidalgo Jr., is because the club was grandfathered until approximately 2025 with the different rules. Katrina Ann Johnson (born April 27, 1982) is an American actress. Born in San Diego, California, she starred on Nickelodeon's ''All That'' sketch comedy show from 1994 to 1997.
