King Island (California)
King Island is an island in the north Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta, twenty kilometres east of Antioch, and twenty kilometres west of Stockton. The island is bounded on the north by White Slough, on the east by Bishop Cut, on the south by Disappointment Slough, and on the west, Honker Cut. It is in San Joaquin County, and managed by Reclamation District 2044. It appears on a 1952 United States Geological Survey map of the area. Northern California (colloquially known as NorCal) is a geographic and cultural region that generally comprises the northern portion of the U.S. state of California. San Joaquin County (; Spanish: ''San Joaquín'', meaning " St. Joachim"), officially the County of San Joaquin, is a county in the U.S. state of California. As of the 2020 census, the population was 779,233. The county seat is Stockton. San Joaquin County comprises the Stockton– Lodi– Tracy metropolitan statistical area within the regional San Jose–San Francisco– Oakland combined statistical area.
