King's Scout (Malay language, Malay: ''Pengakap Raja''),Jawi alphabet, Jawi: ڤڠاکڤ راجMandarin Chinese, Mandarin: 皇家童军Tamil language, Tamil: ராஜாவின் சாரணர்கள் also known as King's Scout Award (Malay language, Malay: ''Anugerah Pengakap Raja''), is the highest award of the Scouts Association of Malaysia (PPM). The King's Scout Certificate is signed by His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia and Monarchies of Malaysia, all the sultans in Malaysia. World Organization Of The Scout Movement
The World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM ) is the largest international Scouting organization. WOSM has 173 members. These members are recognized national Scout organizations, which collectively have around 43 million participants. WOSM was established in 1922, and has its operational headquarters at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and its legal seat in Geneva, Switzerland. It is the counterpart of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS). The WOSM's current stated mission is "to contribute to the education of young people, through a value system based on the Scout Promise and Scout Law, to help build a better world where people are self-fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in society". Eric Khoo Heng-Pheng
Eric Khoo Heng-Pheng (; 17 April 195613 January 2014) was one of 12 elected volunteer members of the World Scout Committee, the main executive body of the World Organization of the Scout Movement, and Chairman of its Asia Pacific Regional Scout Committee, elected in 2001. He was elected at the 38th World Scout Conference in South Korea for a six-year term. Early life Khoo was from Tengkera, Malacca, Malaysia. He was a company director in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, and consultant for public relations and marketing. His business activities involved logistics, engineering, warehouse and property development. He was a member of the Royal Commonwealth Society and the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Scouting Khoo joined Scouting in 1965 at the age of nine as a Cub Scout and earned his King's Scout award in 1973. Baden-Powell Award
The Baden-Powell Award, also known as the B-P Award or Baden-Powell Scout Award (BPSA), is the highest award achievable to Rover Scout, Rover (adult) Scouts. Although it has become a less common award as some Scout Associations no longer offer a Rover program, it is still awarded in several countries, including Australia, Brazil, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Persekutuan Pengakap Malaysia, Malaysia, Singapore, South Africa, New Zealand, and in Traditional Scouting organizations in the United Kingdom and the United States. Association Of Top Achiever Scouts
The Association of Top Achiever Scouts (ATAS) is a worldwide Scouting fellowship group, of Scouts and Scouters who have achieved the highest rank as a youth in their Scout associations such as King's Scout, Queen's Scout, President's Scout, Fuji Scout, Eagle Scout, etc. Developed and formed during the 21st Asia-Pacific Region Scout Conference in Brunei on 10 December 2004 by Simon Hang-bock Rhee of Korea, Eric Khoo Heng-Pheng of Malaysia, and Alexander Wong of Hong Kong, the association has spread to the other regions of the World Organization of the Scout Movement.
