Kina Cosper (born January 25, 1969) known simply as Kina, is an American musician, best known for her work with Grammy Award-nominated group Brownstone (after their nomination), and her 2000 solo single "Girl from the Gutter". Biography Solo career Kina was born in Detroit. At age 21, she moved to Los Angeles, where she worked as a server and in clerical positions as she tried to establish a musical career. She found success with her single "Girl from the Gutter", which received strong airplay and peaked at number 21 on the Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart. She then released her self-titled debut album on July 18, 2000. ''Kina'' peaked at number 14 on the ''Billboard'' Heatseekers chart. "Girl from the Gutter" was followed by the single "Me", which peaked at number 3 on the same chart. "Have a Cry" was released to radio but never charted. To date this is Kina's only released album. Kina Konova ( bg, Кина Конова) (Sevlievo, September 1872- Sofia, 2 May 1952), born Kina Mutafova, was a Bulgarian educator, translator, publicist, suffragist and women's rights activist. Sedomon Gunsanad Kina MBE (1894-1966) was a native chief of Keningau, in North Borneo, who later became a politician in unified Malaysia. He was the son of Gunsanad Kina and the older brother of G.S Sundang. Background Sedomon was given the title of Orang Kaya-kaya (O.K.K) after the passing away of his father, who was the previous Paramount Chief of the Interior and O.K.K for North Borneo. Sedomon served as O.K.K. from 1936 until his death in 1966. Sedomon gained administrative experience in Bingkor while working under D.J. After graduating from high school, he joined Nagoya Grampus Eight in 1995. He debuted in 1995 and played many matches as central midfielder from 1996. However he could not play at all in the match for injury from 1998. In 2000, he moved to newly-promoted club FC Tokyoin the J1 League. He played as a central midfielder. However, the arrival of Masashi Miyazawa in 2002 limited his chances and in 2004, he moved to J2 League club Omiya Ardija. He tried his luck with two more J2 sides, Avispa Fukuoka and Tokyo Verdy, without much success. In 2007, he moved to Japan Football League club Rosso Kumamoto (later ''Roasso Kumamoto'').
