Kimmy Repond
Kimmy Vivienne Repond (born 18 October 2006) is a Swiss figure skater. She is the 2023 European bronze medalist, a three-time ISU Challenger Series medalist, and the 2024 Swiss national champion. Repond finished seventh at both the 2022 and 2023 World Junior Championships, and is a two-time (2020, 2022) Swiss junior national champion. Personal life Repond was born on 18 October 2006 in Basel, Switzerland, to father René, a management consultant, and mother Claudia, a lawyer. She has three sisters – Sidonie, Jérômie, and Caline – all of whom have competed in figure skating. She plans to pursue a career in medicine once she retires from competitive skating. Repond attends a British school in Switzerland and speaks fluent German and English. 2022–23 ISU Junior Grand Prix
The 2022–23 ISU Junior Grand Prix was the 25th season of a series of junior international competitions organized by the International Skating Union. It is the junior-level complement to the 2022–23 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Skaters compete for medals in the disciplines of men's singles, women's singles, pairs, and ice dance, as well as for qualifying points. The top six from each discipline will qualify for the 2022–23 Junior Grand Prix Final, to be held together with the senior final. Competitions The locations of the JGP events change yearly. In the 2022–23 season, the series is composed of the following events in autumn 2022: Entries Skaters who reach the age of 13 before July 1, 2022, but have not turned 19 (singles and females of the other two disciplines) or 21 (male pair skaters and ice dancers) are eligible to compete on the junior circuit. Sarina Joos (born 24 June 2006) is a Swiss figure skater who now represents Italy. Representing Italy, she is the 2024 Italian national champion. Representing Switzerland, she is the 2022 CS Warsaw Cup silver medalist. Nina Pinzarrone (born 24 November 2006) is a Belgian figure skater. She is the 2024 European bronze medalist and a two-time ISU Grand Prix medalist, one of only two Belgian women to have medaled at those events. She placed eleventh at both the 2023 World Championships and the 2022 World Junior Championships. The NRW Trophy (also known as the NRW Summer Trophy or NRW Autumn Trophy) is an annual international figure skating competition organized by the Skating Union of North Rhine-Westphalia and since 2007, it has been sanctioned by the Deutsche Eislauf Union and the International Skating Union.
