Kimmari Roach
Kimmari Roach (born 21 September 1990) is a Jamaican track and field sprinter who specialises in the 100 metres. He has a personal best of 10.12 seconds and was a 60 metres finalist at the 2014 IAAF World Indoor Championships. Roach is a member of Racers Track Club and is coached by Glen Mills. Born in Saint Andrew Parish, Jamaica, Roach competed at the Jamaican High School Champs as a teenager but did not reach the podium. He made his impact at national level in 2009, winning the Jamaican universities 100 m title and setting a personal best of 10.38 seconds for third at the Kingston Classic meet. He improved to 10.34 to win at the 2010 Penn Relays. At the Jamaican Athletics Championships he ran a new best of 10.13 seconds in the semi-final, then placed third in the 100 m final. Jamaica

50 Metres
50 metres, or 50-meter dash, is a sprint event in track and field. It is a relatively uncommon non-championship event for indoor track and field, normally dominated by the best outdoor 100 metres runners. At outdoor athletics competitions it is used in the Special Olympics and a rare distance, at least for senior athletes. It is an alternative to the 60 metres running event. Millrose Games
The Millrose Games is an annual indoor athletics meet (track and field) held each February in New York City. They started taking place at the Armory in Washington Heights in 2012, after having taken place in Madison Square Garden from 1914 to 2011. The games were started when employees of the New York City branch of Wanamaker's department store formed the Millrose Track Club to hold a meet. The featured event is the Wanamaker Mile. History The Millrose Games began in 1908 at a local armory the same year when its parent, the Millrose Athletic Association, was formed as a recreational club by the employees of the John Wanamaker Department Store. Penn Relays
The Penn Relays (also Penn Relays Carnival) is the oldest and largest track and field competition in the United States, hosted annually since April 21, 1895 by the University of Pennsylvania at Franklin Field in Philadelphia. In 2012, there were 116 events run at the meet. More athletes run in the Penn Relays than at any other track and field meet in the world. It regularly attracts more than 15,000 participants from high schools, colleges, and track clubs throughout North America and abroad, notably Jamaica, competing in more than 300 events over five days. Historically, the event has been credited with popularizing the running of relay races. It is held during the last full week in April, ending on the last Saturday in April.
