Kim Raimi
Kim Raimi (born 25 February 1985) is a Finnish football manager and a former player. He was most recently the manager of PK-35 in Ykkösliiga, having previously worked for the team as an assistant coach. During his playing career, he played mainly as a centre back for Helsinki-based clubs, and captained PK-35 Vantaa until the club's bankruptcy at the end of 2016. Early career Born in Helsinki, Raimi played in the youth sectors of local clubs Käpylän Pallo (KäPa) during 1990–1999, HIFK in 2000 and PK-35 during 2001-2002. Club career PK-35 He started his senior career with his former youth team PK-35 in 2003, when the club competed in the third-tier Kakkonen. For the 2005 season, PK were promoted to the second-tier Ykkönen and Raimi stayed with the team. HIFK Fotboll
HIFK Fotboll or IFK Helsingfors is an association football section of HIFK, a sports club based in Helsinki, Finland. The men's football team competes in the highest tier of Finnish football, Veikkausliiga. Their home ground is the Bolt Arena. History Idrottsföreningen Kamraterna i Helsingfors was formed on 15 October 1897 by Georges Doubitsky, a 15-year-old student at the Svenska Reallyceum school in Helsinki. In those early years the club specialised in athletics, football and bandy. The football section was established in 1907, the same year that the Football Association of Finland was founded. 2024 Ykkösliiga
The 2024 Ykkösliiga is the inaugural season of Ykkösliiga, the new second highest football league in Finland. The season began on 13 April 2024. It is contested with 10 clubs, unlike former second-tier Ykkönen which included 12 clubs. Kolmonen
Kolmonen or III divisioona is the fourth level in the league system of Finnish football and comprises 104 Finnish football teams. The III divisioona was introduced in 1973 and in the mid-1990s became known as the Kolmonen (''Number Three'' in English and ''Trean'' in Swedish). The competition There are 104 clubs in the Kolmonen, divided in 9 groups of 10 to 12 teams each representing a geographical area. During the course of a season (starting in April and ending in October) each club plays the others twice, once at their home ground and once at that of their opponents. Antti Muurinen
Antti Muurinen (born March 4, 1954) is a Finnish football coach. Muurinen is probably best known as the head coach of the Finnish national team. He led Finland in qualifying campaigns for the 2002 World Cup, Euro 2004 and the 2006 World Cup, failing to reach the finals each time. In June 2005 Finnish football fans held a protest against Muurinen, and after a 4–0 defeat against Netherlands, the Finnish FA sacked him. In 2006, Muurinen was hired as the manager of FC Lahti in Finland's Veikkausliiga. Before the end of the 2007 season he returned to HJK Helsinki, where he managed them from the 1997 to 1999 season. Muurinen is also known for leading HJK Helsinki into the UEFA Champions League group stage in the 1998–99 season, the only time a Finnish club has managed this feat. 2017 Veikkausliiga
The 2017 Veikkausliiga was the 87th season of top-tier football in Finland. IFK Mariehamn were the defending champions. Fixtures for the 2017 season were announced on 19 January 2017. The season started on 5 April 2017 and ended on 28 October 2017. Teams PK-35 Vantaa were relegated to Ykkönen after finishing at the bottom of the 2016 season. Shefki Kuqi (pronounced ; born 10 November 1976) is a Finnish former professional footballer who played predominantly as a striker. He spent most of his career in the English football league system, for clubs including Newcastle United, Sheffield Wednesday, Ipswich Town, Blackburn Rovers, Crystal Palace, Fulham, Swansea City and Oldham Athletic.
