Kilian Elkinson
Kilian Joel Elkinson (born 2 April 1990; nicknamed Killa) is a Bermudian footballer who is a midfielder. He played for the University of Toronto, and was OUA East Division MVP and CIS First Team All Canadian. He has played professionally for Toronto FC, the North Toronto Nitros, and Robin Hood F.C. He has played for the Bermuda National Team, including in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying and in Caribbean Cup games. He played for Canada at the 2015 Summer Universiade. He played for Team Canada in the 2009 Maccabiah Games in Israel, 2013 Maccabiah Games (winning a bronze medal), and 2017 Maccabiah Games. Early life Born in Hamilton, Bermuda, Elkinson played for the youth teams of PHC Zebras and North Village Rams in Bermuda, before moving to Toronto at the age of 15. He is 5' 7". Bermuda National Football Team
The Bermuda national football team represents Bermuda in international football, and is controlled by the Bermuda Football Association, which is a member of the CONCACAF. History 1964–1992 Bermuda played their first international match on 10 August, 1964, against Iceland in Reykjavik, ending in a narrow victory to the Icelanders, 4–3. Some years later, Bermuda played in the 1967 Pan American Games, reaching the final, before being defeated by Mexico, 4–0. League1 Ontario (L1O) is a semi-professional men's soccer league in Ontario, Canada. The league began play in 2014 and is sanctioned by the Canadian Soccer Association and the Ontario Soccer Association as a pro-am league in the Canadian soccer league system. As of the 2022 season, L1O includes 22 teams. Beginning in 2024, the league will become a three-tier league featuring promotion and relegation. In the Canadian soccer league system, the men's division is behind the Canadian Premier League (CPL). MLS Reserve League
The MLS Reserve League was a soccer league for the reserve teams of Major League Soccer with teams in both the United States and Canada. It was inaugurated on April 9, 2005, with the first official reserve game being a 2–0 victory by Chivas USA over the host San Jose Earthquakes. The reserve division disbanded after the 2008 season but returned in 2011 with 18 clubs split into East, Central, and West divisions. A midfielder is an outfield position in association football. Midfielders may play an exclusively defensive role, breaking up attacks, and are in that case known as defensive midfielders. As central midfielders often go across boundaries, with mobility and passing ability, they are often referred to as deep-lying midfielders, play-makers, box-to-box midfielders, or holding midfielders. The 18th Maccabiah Games ( he, המכביה ה-18 ישראל תשס"ט), were held in July 2009. According to the organizing committee these were the largest games held yet.
