Kilbrin GAA
Kilbrin GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the village of Kilbrin in the north-west of County Cork, Ireland which forms part of the parish of Ballyclough and Kilbrin. The club plays both Gaelic Football and Hurling and is affiliated with Duhallow GAA. The club competes in the Duhallow Junior A Hurling Championship and the Duhallow Junior B Football Championship. At under age level, an amalgamation of Kilbrin and Castlemagner as Croke Rovers has addressed an issue as neither club would have been able to field an underage team on their own. They played as Croke Rovers underage up to Minor level and in 2012 amalgamated up to U21 level. Kilbrin GAA has regular updates via their Twitter and their club lotto jackpot can be won here. Duhallow Junior B Hurling Championship
The Duhallow Junior B Hurling Championship is the second highest hurling competition in the Duhallow division in Cork. It is run for teams deemed too weak for Junior A level in the Duhallow division. The championship includes a group stage, so every team has at least two matches. The winners of the Duhallow competition go on to compete in the Cork Junior B Inter-Divisional Hurling Championship. Newmarket are the title-holders, defeating Dromtarriffe by 0-17 to 1-10 in the 2023 final. William Egan (hurler)
William Egan (born 16 June 1990) is an Irish hurler who plays for Duhallow Junior Championship club Kilbrin. He currently plays as a centre-back, but can also be deployed as a wing-back. Egan is a former member of the Cork senior hurling team. Playing career Club Egan plays his club hurling and Gaelic football with Kilbrin and has enjoyed some success. As a member of the club's hurling team he has won numerous junior championship and under-21 championship medals at divisional level. In 2010 Egan won a junior "B" football championship medal with the club following a one-point defeat of Charleville. University During his tenure at University College Cork, Egan played a key role for the university's various hurling teams. Duhallow Junior A Football Championship
The Duhallow Junior A Football Championship is the top footballing competition in the Duhallow division in Cork. It was first run after the formation of the Duhallow division in 1933. The Championship includes a group stage, therefore every team has at least 2 matches. The winners and runner up of this competition go on to compete in the Cork Junior A Football Championship. Cullen are the title-holders after defeating Kanturk by 4-16 to 1-02 in the 2022 championship final played in Boherbue. Format Group stage The 6 teams are divided into two groups of three. Over the course of the group stage, each team plays once against the others in the group, resulting in each team being guaranteed at least two games.
