Flëur
Flëur was a musical collective from the Ukrainian city of Odesa, being unique for the Ukrainian musical scene. The collective was based around the two original members and frontwomen Olga Pulatova (Ольга Пулатова) and Olena Voinarovska (Олена Войнаровська) who wrote the lyrics, performed vocals and wrote most of the music. Although in later years, the whole collective took part in making music and arrangements, lyrics were still written solely by Olena and Olga. Flëur's musical genre is hard to define as it combines many influences. Flëur originated as cooperation of the two singer-songwriters and the music still bears a tiny resemblance to the genre, yet from the very beginning it was in a way different from typical singer-songwriter music. L'Âme Immortelle
L'Âme Immortelle (French for "the immortal soul") is an Austrian darkwave duo. Many of L'Âme Immortelle's songs feature melancholy or lovelorn lyrics in German or English, and juxtaposed harsh male and emotional female vocals. In 2004 they switched label to the now defunct Supersonic Records (a subsidiary of Sony BMG) and their work moved away from the band's electronic roots to the heavier Neue Deutsche Härte (''New German hardness'') genre. In 2008 they went back to their former label Trisol and they returned to their musical roots. History Founding L'Âme Immortelle was formed in 1996 in Austria by friends Thomas Rainer and Hannes Medwenitsch. Funker Vogt () is a German electronic-industrial music project with an aggressive style, formed by vocalist Jens Kästel and programmer Gerrit Thomas in 1995. Deutsch Nepal is an industrial and dark ambient project created in 1991 by Swedish musician Peter Andersson. History Under the name Deutsch Nepal, Andersson has issued eight studio albums, a couple of singles, the originally tape-only Silent Trilogy (on the Italian label, Old Europa Cafe), which was eventually re-issued as a CD box-set and The Very Top Of Lina Baby Doll 12-inch. He also contributed to various compilations and released split CDs with In Slaughter Natives, The Moon Lay Hidden Beneath a Cloud, Der Blutharsch, Reutoff and a split 7-inch with P·A·L. Diary of Dreams is a German darkwave band. The lead singer and founding member Adrian Hates has produced most of the albums by himself or with minimal help from others. He rarely uses a full band, except when on tour. History Adrian Hates is a classically trained guitarist and pianist who started out as the guitarist for Garden of Delight. He initiated the Diary of Dreams project in the late 1980s, taking the name from one of his early classical guitar compositions, "Tagebuch der Träume." The first album, '' Cholymelan'', appeared in 1994 on the Dion Fortune label. Encouraged by this success, Hates formed his own label called Accession Records and released a series of albums over the following years, building a loyal fanbase each step of the way. Otto Dix is a Russian dark wave music trio. Named after the expressionist painter of the same name, they are notable for their singer, the contra tenor, Michael Draw. The group's style Otto Dix is a darkwave group with EBM and Industrial tunes. Draw calls their style "electronic avant-garde." The songs' themes centre around post-apocalyptic scenes, psychology, morals, and BDSM. The group uses strident, hysterical melodies in their music, sounding in minor tonalities. Some melodies are similar to Dark Ambient. Every song has a tiny solo performance and original image which is made by music, lyrics, Draw's movements, and unusual vocal abilities.
