Khurshid Alam Babul
Khurshid Alam Babul ( bn, খুরশিদ আলম বাবুল) is a prominent former Bangladeshi footballer of the 1970 and the 80s. An attacking midfielder he achieved most of his laurels while playing for Abahani KC in the Dhaka League during his 10-year spell with the club starting in 1977. He won league titles with Abahani in 1977, 1981, 1983, 1984 and 1985. In 1987 he won the title with MSC. Thus he jloined an elite list of players who had won the Dhaka league title both the giants. Ashish Bhadra ( bn, আশীষ ভদ্র; born 14 March 1960) is a former Bangladeshi footballer. An attacking midfielder, he achieved most of his laurels while playing for Abahani Limited Dhaka in the Dhaka League. He was a big factor in Abahani dominating the Dhaka football scene in the early 1980s. He also represented the Bangladesh national team with great distinction and was captain during all six games of the 1986 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
