Khin Myat Mon
Khin Myat Mon ( my, ခင်မြတ်မွန်) is a Burmese singer, harmonist and vocal trainer. She is best known for the popular music she made in the 1980s. Because of her 30 year music career, she served as a judge on national televised singing competitions. Career She started her music career in 1974 as a singer and harmonist in local bands. In 1984, she became the lead vocalist of the New Wave Band. In 1992, she released a solo mixtape ''Bar Alo Shi Lal'' featuring Htoo Ein Thin, Aung Yin, and Ye Thein. She had music collaborations with Iron Cross, Emperor, and Oasis. She was a judge on major televised singing competitions '' Karaoke World Championships Myanmar'', ''Eain Mat Sone Yar'', ''Starless Sky'', ''Telenor Music Contest'' and many national singing contests. A mixtape (alternatively mix-tape, mix tape or mixed tape) is a compilation of music, typically from multiple sources, recorded onto a medium. Htoo Ein Thin
Htoo Eain Thin ( my, ထူးအိမ်သင်; ; born Kyaw Myint Lwin (, ); 1 July 1963 – 14 August 2004) was one of the most popular and respected Burmese singer-songwriters. He brought a new style of pop rock music to the Burmese music scene in mid-1980s, and was popular till his death in 2004. He released 14 solo albums in his 18-year career. His songs remain Burmese standards and his premature death is still mourned by millions of fans. Background Htoo Eain Thin was born on 1 July 1963 in Pathein in the Irrawaddy Division to a Bamar, Burman father (Tun Myint) and a Mon people, Mon mother (Mya Yin). Aung Yin
Aung Yin ( my, အောင်ရင်, , born 28 June 1964) is a Burmese pop singer, who reached the height of his career in the late 1980s to early 1990s. Early life and education Aung Yin was born on 28 June 1964 in Rangoon, Burma to parent Han Yin and Khin Myaing. He is the eldest son of three siblings, having two younger brothers. Aung Yin began singing on stage in the 4th standard and immediately joined the music industry upon graduating from the 10th standard from State High School No. 1 Dagon (BEHS No. 1 Dagon). Karaoke World Championships
Originating in Finland in 2003 with 7 countries, the Karaoke World Championships are an international karaoke competition, featuring approximately 30 countries worldwide. USA holds 5 gold medals in solo category. Australia, Panama, Lebanon and UK are tied for the second most solo golds, with three each. National trials are conducted in each participating country every year with the winners competing in the international finals for the title of Karaoke World Champion. In 2003-2017 KWC had separate categories for male and female contestants. The 2016 competition introduced the Duet category and in 2018 gender categories were removed.
