Khartoum NC
Khartoum National Club is a football club based in Khartoum, Sudan. They play in the top level of Sudanese professional football, the Sudan Premier League. Their rivals are Ahli Al Khartoum. Al Khartoum is one of the elite Sudanese football teams that has been playing in the top tier of Sudanese football constantly since their promotion in 1996. They were previously known as Al Khartoum 3 which is the neighbourhood the team was founded in. Al Khartoum was the first team to ever represent the Khartoum 3 district as most teams were representing Omdurman. The team has been finishing up most of the seasons 4th which reflects how keen they are to be a strong member of the top football teams in Sudan. Khartoum Stadium
The Khartoum International Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Khartoum, Sudan. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium has a capacity of 23,000 people. It is also the home stadium of the Sudanese national football team and of the club Al Ahli SC Khartoum. In 2010, it was renovated for the 2011 African cup of nations championships . History The stadium was inaugurated in 1957 under the name of Municipal Stadium to host the first African football competition of nations, the 1957 African Cup of Nations. 2015 Kagame Interclub Cup
The 2015 Kagame Interclub Cup was the 40th edition of the Kagame Interclub Cup, which is organised by CECAFA. It took place in Tanzania from 18 July to 2 August. All times shown are in East Africa Time (UTC+3). Broadcasting South African sports channel SuperSport secured official rights to broadcast all matches played at the tournament, and this year secured a contract to broadcast the cup for the next 4 years.
