Khalif Isse Mudan () was Somali politician, Somali Politician and Puntland Minister of Security and DDR from 2011 to 2014. Former Somali Air Force, Somali Air Force Commander. He died in Ankara on November 24, 2020 due to COVID-19. Personal life Mudan was born in 1953 in Boosaso, the capital of Bari Region, and he completed his primary education in Boosaso, especially at Haji Mire School. He continued his middle and high school education in Mogadishu, where he moved in 1962, and was sent for military training in 1970, where he received training in military aircraft flying in Soviet Union, Russia. Baledogle Airfield, also known as Wanlaweyn Airstrip is a military airbase located in the district of Wanlaweyn in Lower Shabelle region of Somalia.
