Khabardar (film)
''Khabardaar'' is a 2005 Marathi comedy film produced and directed by Mahesh Kothare and starring Bharat Jadhav, Sanjay Narvekar, and Nirmiti Sawant. The film was inspired by the 1940 classic American film ''His Girl Friday'' starring Cary Grant and Rosalind Russell. Plot Bharat Bhalerao (Jadhav) is a crime reporter at the newspaper ''Khabardar''. His boss, Gauri Shringarpure (Sawant), tasks him with gathering information about an escaped prisoner, Anna Chimbori (Apte). Maruti Kamble (Narvekar) is a truck driver. Maruti becomes the witness to a murder that the prisoner commits. Maruti is accused of the murder and has to run for his life. The only person who can help him is Bharat, the crime reporter. Maruti teams up with Bharat to uncover the truth and bring Anna to justice. Mahesh Amber Kothare (Marathi pronunciation: Help:IPA/Marathi, [məɦeːʃ koʈʰaːɾe]; born 28 September 1953) is an Indian List of Marathi film actors, film actor, List of Indian film directors, director and producer of Marathi cinema, Marathi and Bollywood, Hindi films. Makarand Madhukar Anaspure (Marathi pronunciation: əkəɾən̪d̪ ənaːspuɾe born 22 July 1969) is an Indian actor, director and producer. He has primarily appeared in Marathi films and theater. Vithoba, also known as Vi(t)thal(a) and Panduranga, is a Hindu deity predominantly worshipped in the Indian state of Maharashtra and Karnataka. He is generally considered as a manifestation of the god Vishnu, or his avatar Krishna. Bharat Jadhav is an actor and producer in Marathi movies, theatre and TV shows in India. He is known more for his comic roles as a leading man in commercial Marathi cinema and theatre.
