Kevin Deshawn Thompson (born September 18, 1979) is a former American Association of Independent Professional Baseball, professional baseball outfielder. Early life Thompson played Little League with the Benbrook youth league and graduated with honors from Western Hills High School, where he played baseball and football. Thompson graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance as of May 2011. Career He was selected in the 18th round (529th overall) of the amateur entry draft by the Minnesota Twins. He was a South Atlantic League All-Star selection in 2002 and a Florida State League All-Star in 2003. Injuries plagued his 2004 season, however, he went to the Arizona Fall League and excelled. Thompson, a 6'11" center played one NBA season for the Portland Trail Blazers before continuing his career in Europe. Kevin James Thompson (born July 27, 1977) is a former professional American football quarterback. He has played in the National Football League, NFL Europe, and the Arena Football League. He was a two-year starter at Penn State University. He signed as a free agent with the Cleveland Browns following the 2000 NFL draft and played there for one season. Kevin Thompson is an American politician and former enlisted member of the United States Air Force and current member of the Arizona Corporation Commission. A member of the Republican Party, Thompson served the citizens of Mesa, AZ as Councilmember of District 6 from January 2015 to January 2023 prior to being elected to the Commission in November 2022. Personal life and education Born in West Monroe, Louisiana, Thompson and his family moved to Dallas, Texas, when he was a year old, and later to Euless, Texas, where he grew up. The Arizona Corporation Commission is the Public Utilities Commission of the State of Arizona, established by Article 15 of the Arizona Constitution. Arizona is one of only fourteen states with elected commissioners. The Arizona Constitution explicitly calls for an elected commission, as opposed to a governor-appointed commission, which is the standard in most states, because its drafters feared that governors would appoint industry-friendly officials. The Purple Man (Zebediah Kilgrave) is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Stan Lee and artist Joe Orlando, he first appeared in ''Daredevil'' #4 (October 1964). Kevin Thomson (born 14 October 1984) is a Scottish professional football coach and former player. Thomson played as a midfielder for Hibernian (three spells), Rangers, Middlesbrough and Dundee and represented Scotland. Thomson began his career with Hibernian, before joining Rangers in 2007 for a £2m transfer fee. Thomson won five major trophies with Rangers, including consecutive Scottish Premier League championships in 2009 and 2010. Thomson was also part of the Rangers side which reached the 2008 UEFA Cup Final. Middlesbrough signed Thomson for a fee of £2m in July 2010, but released him in January 2013 after an injury-hit spell. Thomson then rejoined Hibernian in March 2013, but was released in May 2014 after the club was relegated. He then signed for Dundee, before joining Hibernian for a third time.
