Kevin Krauter
Kevin Krauter is a non-binary American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and musician. Krauter was a founding member of the indie pop group Hoops (band), Hoops until their hiatus was announced in 2018. In 2018, Krauter released his debut solo album, ''Toss Up''. In 2020, Krauter released his second solo album, ''Full Hand.'' Career Krauter formed Hoops (band), Hoops with school friends Drew Auscherman, Keagan Beresford, and James Harris in 2014. The next year he released his debut solo EP, ''Magnolia'' via Winspear (record label), Winspear. Hoops released three "tapes", one EP and two albums before announcing their hiatus in 2018. On November 12, 2019, Hoops released a single, "They Say", their first since 2017. In 2016, Krauter released "Fantasy Theme". Indie Pop
Indie pop (also typeset as indie-pop or indiepop) is a music genre and subculture that combines guitar pop with DIY ethic in opposition to the style and tone of mainstream pop music. It originated from British post-punk in the late 1970s and subsequently generated a thriving fanzine, Independent record label, label, and club and gig circuit. Compared to its counterpart, indie rock, the genre is more melodic, less abrasive, and relatively angst-free. Hovvdy is an American Indie pop duo from Austin, Texas. History The duo began their career releasing an EP in 2014. The following year, they released a split with the band Loafer. Hovvdy released their debut album, ''Taster'', in 2016. In 2018, Hovvdy released their second full-length album titled ''Cranberry''. In 2019, the duo released a split with musician Hannah Read, known as Lomelda. The split found Hovvdy and Lomelda covering each others songs. The two also went on a summer tour to promote the split.
