Kent Intermediate School District
Kent Intermediate School District (KISD) is a Educational Service Agency in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The KISD provides services to twenty local public districts and to all non-public schools within its boundaries. Directly or indirectly, Kent ISD serves almost 400 schools, more than 120,000 students and 7,000 educators. Kent ISD also operates the Kent Career Technical Center that offers a variety of programs available for no cost for high school juniors and seniors. Campus Kent ISD features a large campus covering land between East Beltline, Knapp Street, and Leffingwell NE. Kent Career Technical Center occupies one of the five main buildings. Additionally, Kent Transition Center (KTC),Kent Innovation High and Kent Education Center-Beltline (KEC-Beltline) are located on the campus. Kent County, Michigan
Kent County is located in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2020 Census, the county had a population of 657,974, making it the fourth most populous county in Michigan, and the largest outside of the Detroit area. Its county seat is Grand Rapids. Kent Career Technical Center
Kent is a county in South East England and one of the home counties. Apex Learning, Inc. is a privately held provider of digital curriculum. Headquartered in Seattle, Apex Learning is accredited by AdvancED. History Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen founded Apex Learning in 1997 to apply online courses and test prep to material for grades 6-12. The company initially focused on Advanced Placement courses and test prep. Within one year of operation, 200 students used the Apex platform.
