Kenny Lyon
Kenny Lyon (born April 22, 1956) is an American guitarist, bassist, music producer, and author. He has performed and recorded with artists such as the Lemonheads, Jann Arden, NOFX, Mark Curry, Los Super Elegantes, Joel Virgel, Jim Bianco, and Brazzaville. He has also produced many kinds of music (including Chicano gangster rap, having produced some of the genre's biggest L.A. names: Mr. D, Sleepy Malo, Fank V., many of the original Southland Records cds.) Life and career Born in Coral Gables, Florida, Lyon spent his fifth and sixth years in the Belgian Congo, and twelfth and sixteenth in Seville, Spain (where he began playing guitar). Back in the United States, he attended Vero Beach Senior High School (where he played bass in the school jazz band), the University of Florida, and the University of Miami. The Lemonheads
The Lemonheads are an American alternative rock band formed in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1986 by Evan Dando, Ben Deily, and Jesse Peretz. Dando has remained the band's only constant member. After their initial punk-influenced releases and tours as an independent/college rock band in the late 1980s, the Lemonheads' popularity with a mass audience grew in 1992 with the major label album ''It's a Shame about Ray'', which was produced, engineered, and mixed by The Robb Brothers (Bruce Robb, Dee, and Joe). This was followed by a cover of Simon and Garfunkel's "Mrs. Robinson", which eventually became one of the band's most successful singles. The Lemonheads were active until 1997 before going on hiatus, but reformed with a new lineup in 2005 and released ''The Lemonheads'' the following year. Jann Arden
Jann Arden (born Jann Arden Anne Richards; March 27, 1962) is a Canadian singer-songwriter and actress. She is famous for her signature ballads, "Could I Be Your Girl" and "Insensitive (song), Insensitive", which is her biggest hit to date. Early life and education Jann Arden was born in Calgary and moved as a child to Springbank, Alberta, Springbank, Alberta, where she attended Springbank Community High School. Her father was a construction contractor and her mother was a dental assistant. She is the middle child of three children. Arden grew up in a troubled family dynamic. NOFX
NOFX () is an American punk rock band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1983. Vocalist/bassist Fat Mike, guitarist Eric Melvin and drummer Erik Sandin are original founding and longest-serving members of the band, who have appeared on every release of the band, although Sandin departed briefly in 1985, only to rejoin the following year. El Hefe joined the band in 1991 to play lead guitar and trumpet, rounding out the current line-up. ''Punk in Drublic'' is the fifth studio album by the American punk rock band NOFX. It was released on July 19, 1994, through Epitaph Records. The title is a spoonerism of "Drunk in Public". ''Punk in Drublic'' is NOFX's most successful album to date, peaking at number 12 on ''Billboards Heatseekers chart. The album has received positive reviews and is now considered a classic punk album by fans and critics alike. Six years after its release, it became the band's only gold record for sales of over 500,000 copies in the United States. Worldwide, the record has sold over 1 million copies.
