Billy Kenneally
William Kenneally (12 October 1925 − 26 August 2009) was an Irish Fianna Fáil politician. He first stood for election at the 1961 general election but was unsuccessful. He was elected to Dáil Éireann as a Fianna Fáil Teachta Dála (TD) for the Waterford constituency at the 1965 general election. He was re-elected at each subsequent election until he lost his seat at the February 1982 general election. He was elected to the 16th Seanad in 1982 on the Administrative Panel. He did not contest the 1983 Seanad election. Kenneally was twice Mayor of Waterford city in the 1970s and 1980s. His father William Kenneally also served as a TD for Waterford from 1952 to 1961, and his son Brendan Kenneally is a former TD for Waterford. He died in Waterford Regional Hospital on 26 August 2009. Siassie Kenneally
Siassie Kenneally (29 May 1969 – 2018) was an Inuit, Inuk artist based in Cape Dorset (Kinngait), Northwest Territories (now Nunavut). Kenneally was known for her pencil-crayon drawings depicting traditional Inuit lifestyles. Her work is included in the collections of the National Gallery of Canada and the Dennos Museum Center, Dennos Museum. In 2017, her work had a solo exhibition at Feheley Fine Arts titled "All the Things That I Have Seen". Biography Kenneally comes from a family of artists, her mother Mayureak Ashoona was a celebrated print maker and her father, Qaqaq Ashoona, noted carver. She was the granddaughter of artists Sheouak Petaulassie and Pitseolak Ashoona, and cousins to Shuvinai Ashoona and Annie Pootoogook. Patricia Kennealy-Morrison (born Patricia Kennely; March 4, 1946 – July 21, 2021) was an American author and journalist. Her published works include rock criticism, a memoir, and two series of science fiction/fantasy and murder mystery novels. Her books are evenly divided between the series ''The Keltiad'' and ''The Rock&Roll Murders: The Rennie Stride Mysteries''. As first a writer and then the editor-in-chief of ''Jazz & Pop'' magazine in the late 1960s, she was one of the first women rock critics. Kennealy-Morrison worked as an advertising copywriter, receiving two Clio nominations. Thomas Michael Keneally, AO (born 7 October 1935) is an Australian novelist, playwright, essayist, and actor. He is best known for his non-fiction novel ''Schindler's Ark'', the story of Oskar Schindler's rescue of Jews during the Holocaust, which won the Booker Prize in 1982. The book would later be adapted into Steven Spielberg's 1993 film ''Schindler's List'', which won the Academy Award for Best Picture. Michael Joseph Keneally (born December 20, 1961) is an American session guitarist, keyboardist, vocalist and composer. Early years and musical influences Keneally started playing music at the age of 7 when he received an electric organ for his birthday. John Kenneally is an Australian radio presenter based in Adelaide, who after many years on ABC radio, moved to commercial radio in 2010. Brendan Kenneally (born 1 April 1955) is a former Irish Fianna Fáil politician. He was a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Waterford constituency, he was first elected to Dáil Éireann at the 1989 general election. In February 1992, he was appointed as Minister of State at the Department of Tourism, Transport and Communications by the Taoiseach Albert Reynolds, serving until January 1993. He was re-elected at subsequent elections until his defeat at the 2002 general election. He then became a member of the 22nd Seanad, nominated by the Taoiseach. John Kenneally (hurler)
John Kenneally was an Irish sportsperson. He played hurling with his local club Redmonds and was a member of the Cork senior inter-county team for one season in 1892. Playing career Club Kenneally played his club hurling with the famous Redmonds club and enjoyed some success. He won a county senior championship title in 1892. Inter-county Kenneally first came to prominence on the inter-county scene with Cork as part of the Redmond's selection in 1892. That year he lined out in his first provincial decider with All-Ireland champions Kerry providing the opposition. An exciting game developed, however, at full-time Cork were the champions by 5-3 to 2-5. It was Kenneally's first, and only, Munster title.
