Kendra Lilly
Kendra Lilly (born June 18, 1991) is a Canadian curler from Sudbury, Ontario. She is a three-time Northern Ontario junior champion skip. She is also the former skip of the Laurentian University women's curling team. Career Lilly won the 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 Northern Ontario Junior Curling Championships. This qualified her for the Canadian Junior Curling Championships in each of those years. At the 2009 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, she threw fourth rocks for skip Vanessa Maloney and finished with a 6–6 record. At the 2010 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, she skipped the rink of Kim Curtin, Jennifer Gates and Kaitlynd Burns to a 9–3 round robin record. The team then lost to British Columbia's Dailene Sivertson in the semi-final to finish third overall. Greater Sudbury
Sudbury, officially the City of Greater Sudbury is the largest city in Northern Ontario by population, with a population of 166,004 at the 2021 Canadian Census. Northern Ontario
Northern Ontario is a primary geographic and quasi-administrative region of the Canadian province of Ontario, the other primary region being Southern Ontario. 2012 Canadian Junior Curling Championships
The 2012 M&M Meat Shops Canadian Junior Curling Championships were held from February 4 to 12 at the Strathcona Paper Centre and the Napanee & District Curling Club in Napanee, Ontario. The winners, the Albertan teams skipped by Brendan Bottcher and Jocelyn Peterman, represented Canada at the 2012 World Junior Curling Championships in Östersund, Sweden. In the women's final, Alberta's Peterman led her team to a win over Manitoba's Shannon Birchard in nine ends, winning with a score of 12–6 after a decisive shot in the fourth end and a critical steal in the fifth end gave Alberta a large lead. The men's final saw Alberta's Brendan Bottcher sealing off the game against Northern Ontario's Brennan Wark in the last end with two points, making the final score 9–6 and completing an Alberta sweep of the Canadian Juniors. Courtney Chenier
Courtney Chenier (born October 5, 1992 in New Liskeard, Ontario) is a Canadian curler from Ottawa, Ontario. She was the alternate for the Tracy Fleury rink at the 2015 Scotties Tournament of Hearts. Career Chenier won the 2011 and 2012 Northern Ontario Junior Curling Championships as a member of the Kendra Lilly rink. This qualified her for the Canadian Junior Curling Championships in each of those years. At the 2011 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, Chenier's team of Lilly, Jen Gates and Kim Curtin went 6–6 and missed the playoffs. At the 2012 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, her team of Lilly, Crystal Lillico and Avery Thomas went 6–6 again, missing the playoffs. Dailene Sivertson
Dailene Pewarchuk (born Dailene Sivertson; August 16, 1990) is a Canadian curler from Victoria, British Columbia. She is currently the alternate on Team Taylor Reese-Hansen. Career Juniors Pewarchuk made her national curling debut at the 2007 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, skipping her team out of the Victoria Curling Club. They would finish round robin with an 8-4 record, which was enough to secure a spot in the semi-final. They would lose to Manitoba's Calleen Neufeld. Pewarchuk would win her second B.C Junior Championship in 2010. Jennifer Gates
Jennifer Gates (born April 22, 1990) is a Canadian curler from Sudbury, Ontario. Gates is a two-time Canadian university champion and a two-time Northern Ontario provincial champion. Career Bantam and junior curling During her bantam and junior curling years, Gates played on Team Lilly (formerly Team Maloney) out of the Idylwylde Curling Club in Sudbury, Ontario. The team represented Northern Ontario at the 2004 Ontario Winter Games in London, Ontario. The team also represented Northern Ontario at the Canadian Junior Curling Championships in 2009, 2010, and 2011, where Gates played second.
