Kemal Yaşınkılıç
Army General Kemal Yaşınkılıç (1871-1975) was a Turkish soldier (1911-1954) and parliamentarian. He served in the İslahiye 39 Mountain Brigade, in the 33rd Division (Yassıviran), 23rd Division (Turkey) Safranbolu, Devrek 19, Sarykamysh 9th and 3rd Division Commander, and in 18th Corps Command, and as Commander of the Gendarmerie General Command (1951–54). In the 10th Parliament of Turkey The 10th Grand National Assembly of Turkey existed from 2 May 1954 to 1 November 1957. There were 541 MPs in the parliament. Gendarmerie General Command
The Gendarmerie General Command ( tr, Jandarma Genel Komutanlığı) is the national Gendarmerie force of the Republic of Turkey. It is a service branch of the Turkish Ministry of Interior responsible for the maintenance of the public order in areas that fall outside the jurisdiction of police forces (generally in rural areas), as well as assuring internal security along with carrying out other specific duties assigned to it by certain laws and regulations. In wartime, some of its elements can be subordinated to Turkish Land Forces by the President of Turkey. The Commander of the Gendarmerie reports to the Minister of the Interior. The Gendarmerie has its roots in the Ottoman Empire military law enforcement organization "Subaşı" (later known as the "Zaptiye"). Edirne
Edirne (, ), formerly known as Adrianople or Hadrianopolis (Greek: Άδριανούπολις), is a city in Turkey, in the northwestern part of the province of Edirne in Eastern Thrace. M. Nuri Berköz (1889–1975) ''(Mehemmed Hacı İlyas Oğlu Sarıkerimli)'' was an Ottoman/Turkish Army soldier. He was born in Shaki, Azerbaijan in 1889. After completing his primary education in the local Russian-Tatar School, (educational institutions which are considered to have contributed to the rise of modern Azerbaijani intelligentsia) his father decided to immigrate to Ottoman Turkey with his family in early twentieth century.
