Keheewin is a residential neighbourhood located in southwest Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The name means "eagle" in the Cree language. The neighbourhood is bounded on the west by 111 Street, on the east by Calgary Trail/Gateway Boulevard, and on the north by 23 Avenue. The south boundary is located approximately half a block south of 18 Avenue. Calgary Trail provides access to destinations south of the city including the Edmonton International Airport. Gateway Boulevard provides access to Old Strathcona, the University of Alberta, and the downtown core. Blue Quill is a residential neighbourhood located in south west Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Blue Quill and the adjacent neighbourhood of Blue Quill Estates are named to honour Chief Blue Quill of the Saddle Lake Band. It is bounded on the south by 23 Avenue, on the east by 111 Street, and on the west by 119 Street. The north boundary is Saddleback Road east of 115 Street, and a utility corridor west of 115 Street. Edmonton Light Rail Transit
Edmonton Light Rail Transit, commonly referred to as the LRT, is a light rail system in Edmonton, Alberta. Part of the Edmonton Transit Service (ETS), the system has 18 stations on two lines and of track. As of 2018, it is number seven on the busiest light rail transit systems in North America, with over 113,000 daily weekday riders. The ETS started operation of the original LRT line in 1978, expanded by 2010 into the Capital Line, running between Clareview in Edmonton's northeast and Century Park in Edmonton's south end. Century Park Station (Edmonton)
Century Park station is an Edmonton Light Rail Transit station in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It serves the Capital Line. It is a ground-level station located at 111 Street near 23 Avenue, and is named after the transit-oriented development Century Park, located on the former Heritage Mall site next to the station. Century Park is currently the southern terminus of the Capital Line. The station was officially opened on April 24, 2010, with regular service commencing on April 25, 2010. Station layout The station has a 123 metre long centre loading platform that can accommodate two trains at the same time, one on each side of the platform. The platform is exactly nine metres wide. It also has a grade separated pedestrian overpass connecting the platform to the Century Park Transit Centre and the Century Park development.
