Kaya Futbol Club–Iloilo (, also known as Una Kaya Futbol Club, Inc.,) is a Philippines, Filipino professional association football, football club based in Iloilo City. They play in the Philippines Football League (PFL), the highest tier of football in the Philippines. The club has won one United Football League Cup, UFL cup and two Copa Paulino Alcantara, and has also competed in the AFC Champions League and AFC Cup. Founded in 1996 as Kaya Futbol Club in Makati, the club's name comes from the Filipino language, Filipino word ''káya'' ("we can"). While in Tagalog language, Old Tagalog, the word is defined as ''susi ng kapatiran'' ("key to brotherhood"). Both of these definitions provide the basis for Kaya's team spirit and vision. Iloilo Sports Complex, also known as the Iloilo Sports Center is a multi-use sports complex in La Paz, Iloilo City, La Paz, Iloilo City, Philippines and is the venue of athletic events in Iloilo province and Western Visayas and occasionally hosts large gatherings such as concerts. Its main stadium, the Main Stadium, has a seating capacity of 7,000. Iloilo Sports Complex includes an Olympic-size swimming pool, an oval running track, a association football, football field, two volleyball courts, two basketball courts, two tennis courts and four badminton courts. An indoor gymnasium is located 200 meters away from the main site. The athletics track underwent repair in 2014 which costed though it had to be rehabilitated again due to the number of sporting events hosted by the venue. The 2011 United Football Cup was the third edition of the United Football Cup that ran from mid-October to mid-December 2011. This edition consisted of 28 teams which were separated into seven groups with the top two teams of the group advancing to the round of 16. The two best third placed teams claimed the remaining two slots in the round of 16. In the previous year the clubs were initially separated into four equal groups, with a single round-robin played in each to divide the groups into top-two and bottom-two clusters. The top two of every group qualified for the knock-out stage while the bottom-two clubs of each set battled for the Plate. The eight teams who made it to the knock-out stages were given the right of playing in the league first division while teams who played for the Plate proceeded to the league second division.
